Did we ever get clarification for how this pet works? I know it's tick based, but given the erratic nature of the skill there's not an obvious number of ticks associated with possible actions.

For example, how many 'ticks' of pet chance are awarded when:

Successfully catching a charming moth?

Failing to catch a charming moth?

Looting a box trap (or tortle trap, marasamaw, etc)?

A box trap fails to catch something?

A box trap is placed?

Catching a charm sprite?

Actions in Big Game Hunter? Which ones can award pet - just skinning?

I realise it's futile to really delve into the maths, but I need something to do on the side while I sit at charmi

Does anyone know how the ticks are calculated for the hunter pet? How many ticks of pet chance are awarded from catching:

Grenwalls

Tortles

Jadinkos

Big game hunter

Black warlocks

etc
