Because I feel this classic science fiction quote is evocative of NMS:

But still the ships fell upward through night, and always there were men to stand watch upon them. Sometimes the men wore peaked caps and comets, sometimes steel helmets, sometimes decorous gray cowls, eventually blue berets with winged stars; but always they watched the ships, and more and more often as the decades passed they brought their craft to new harbors.

So I haven't been playing NMS long before I jumped into the Aquarius expedition. Now that it's time for me to exit, how do I maximize my rewards? Do I just strip all the best tech upgrades and the best of my cargo at the anomaly, but I keep bases and discoveries? The leftover tech and cargo becomes units and nanites? Should I cook my leftover fish for higher units?
Do I need to save the special Aquarius gear at the anomaly?

Also, I may have messed up by acquiring an A-Class freighter during the expedition. I built a base inside, so can I keep it? If not, should I somehow liquidate it before exiting the expedition?

Finally, how does everyone have exciting sci-fi names,

I need some technical help here, please.

I've been using Deskscapes for years without issues, with Fences, my favorite part of Object Desktop.

Three days ago I moved an external hard drive into my computer case. There was some component rasslin' and issues, but everything got put back in place. Then the computer started crashing every 60-90 minutes. I eventually saw the memory leakage - about 6M/sec.

Standard troubleshooting including SFC and DISM. Where the memory was going didn't show in Resource Meter, Process Explorer or other tools. Did a System Restore to a week ago, well before issue manifested, did not help. So trial and error, stopping processes and services in turn. Kill

I last posted this 10 years ago - many wrong guesses, but no joy yet...

I read this book from my local library in the early- to mid- seventies. It was hardcover (library bound) and the dust jacket had a printed burlap or canvas background. The back flap mentioned that the author's name was a pseudonym. (And not some 'that name will sell books' pseudonym, but an 'I'm hiding my true identity' one.) The book had lots of conversation, anecdotes and opinions with little to no 'action'.

It begins shortly after the formation of a world government, and the President of Earth is presiding over the trial of Earth's only immortal man, for the crime of withholding the secre
