Imperito

I was wondering, what type of things would be included in a Heraldic badge? So far I've come up with this Pine wreath but I wanted something to place inside it.

Would it be appropriate to put something from my arms, such as a wolf or the charge, or something entirely different?

And how about text/motto's, would that be recommended or not?
