Impossible-Rum

I am over halfway done of getting all the sims helped, but i've only gotten one important sim, so I was wondering would I be able to wait for over an hour or something and one of the sims would just leave and a new one would come in or would they stay the entire shift unless I help them?

My game is acting really slow and I can't figure out why, I've made sure that it is updated, I've cleaned out the extra cliche, I've checked my internet, I've even set the setting for visual to normal instead of enhanced. Is anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it?
