Is calamity mod not getting updates anymore?

I'm actually in shambles hearing about the situation. It's pretty messed up. I feel so sorry for the victims, and I hope they find peace and solace.

I started playing the Calamity mod around two months ago after I finished Terraria for the first time. It was hella fun, and I completely fell in love with the game. Then, I discovered the mod version of terraria, I kept hearing about this mod, and i decided to give it a try, and holy, it was the most PEAK gameplay experience ever.

But what will happen to the mod?
