I recently decided to try CachyOS with Niri and Noctalia. The Phone Connect plugin for Noctalia is giving me a hard time; neither my Pixel 9a nor my PC can see each other. I have enabled the ports (1714-1764) the wiki suggested but still nothing. I always get "kdeconnect not running". Any suggestions?

Is there a way to start steam minimized to the system tray? I know Bazzite on KDE starts it minimized, wanted to know if it was possible in niri?

This morning when I logged in and went to Mount my shared windows drive it said I lacked Permission to do so. This was not the case two days ago. Has something changed with an update?

New to Niri and Linux in general. I noticed it opens image files with Firefox, but I want to change the default app to nomacs. How do I go about doing this?

Trying out the Niri edition of pikaos, and trying to add a non-steam game. When I click browse nothing happens, and an hour of searching and installing dependencies Niri apparently lacks has not solved the problem.

Recently switched to Linux from Windows 11, and I cannot get Lyall's fix to work. I have extracted to game directory, added the extra command line and switched to proton experimental (Proton GE just crashes). Still getting start up logos and windowed mode.

Been playing the game for weeks with no issues at all, until yesterday morning. Now the game will freeze after playing for about 5min. Doesn't matter what I do in game or what settings I use, this always happens. Tried re-installing and new pro keys and nothing. Any ideas?
