My industry was hit first in march of 2020 so I was on unemployment before most of the country was. I remained on it while working very part time until October 2020 when i was let go and not given a reason why. My benefits stopped once i reported it to DWD (to investigate why i was let go). Around December when my small savings was running out, I started calling them for answers. Each time they basically told me the same information i could see in my portal and were unhelpful overall. I finally got through to someone who would forward my case to a higher up and i could expect a call from them. I got my call and asked my questions (what is going on with my claim, etc.).
