[for PvPers] if you use mouse side buttons to hotkey to your rod, pls help

I’d say I’m pretty good at pvp, been doing it for a few years now and I win the majority of my fights on minemen.club. However I’m trying to learn how to rod using my mouse side buttons (I have 2).

If you use mouse side buttons to hotkey to your rod and sword, I have a couple questions:

  1. Which one do you use for your rod, and which one for the sword? I am currently using a Logitech m510, the side buttons are kind of springy and it’s not a gaming mouse by any means but it works for me. As for which buttons I use, I’m trying to use the rear one for rod and the front one for sword, that way I can just tilt my thumb to click them.
  2. Do you jitter, butterfly, or normal click? Because the
