Read this book sometime in the early 2010's, but it was probably written back in the 2000's. I recall it being a kid/young-adult Christian fiction fantasy series that had maybe 4-5 books in the series. The reading level was probably middle school/high school range.

It starts with a boy and his sister visiting a weird library after closing hours and the sister disappears as the books start talking on the shelves to the boy. The boy asks them where his sister went and one of the books confesses that she went into the book because a shadowy evil being made it lie to her and said it could make her smarter with math numbers. The boy goes into the same book and enters a weird realm of magic wher

Chipped one of my wisdom teeth New Years week. Went to a dentist to see if they could get it filled and they flat out told me no and that I must have all four wisdom teeth removed.

I am not in any pain, and have never had any problems with my wisdom teeth before. The chip is on the backside of the tooth, but it doesn’t hurt to touch it or eat food, but I want to do the right thing and get it fixed asap.

Will a dentist be able to fill in a chipped wisdom tooth, or am I forced to have it removed?

I live in USA and my options for dental care are extremely limited. I have drove hours at a time to get dental help off and on my whole life, but I developed a chip/crack in my wisdom tooth over the New Year and managed to have a dentist look at it who was about an hour away from where I live.

I’m not in any pain from the chip, but I don’t want it to get any worse. This specific dentist office refused to do anything to fill in the chip, but were insistent I have all four of my wisdom teeth removed asap, and were overall unhelpful.

Besides money problems, I have health issues that make having any kind of major surgery dangerous, so I’d also have to find someone who could operate with those

I mean, every once in a blue moon it’s fine. But I don’t subscribe to blogs/channels/forums to see images of people’s damn cats!

I get so frustrated when I click on a meme compilation and 70% is cats being fucking stupid or someone just throwing cheese on their faces and laughing. How tf is this acceptable?? How is it even funny or a meme?

Cats are stupid little hyper piss rats that people worship and think they have to be in everything. I’m sick and tired of it!

Just once, I wish social media would allow a filter that would actually block anything cat related. Or maybe mods on different subreddits should do their damn jobs and take cats off subreddits that have nothing to with cats!

First-time poster here, but something really strange happened at my home this morning before I woke up and it is bothering me.

Around 3 am, my dog woke both me and my mother up to the noise of him chewing off his diaper. Mom wakes me up after she is up herself, and is visibly spooked, and asks me if I turned on the gas logs last night.

I didn’t, and even stranger the metal door that covers the knobs is open and the flames are running high.

But that’s easy enough to contribute to one of us forgetting we turned them on right?

I wish that was the only thing. In my mother’s room next to her side of the bed is a perfect ring of blood with a 2ft diameter that looks fresh.

Obviously, we were v

I cannot find a picture of it, and I can't remember its name due to it being a foreign comic.

Back in 2014ish, there was an animated trailer for this foreign comic book about a guy who's wife gets taken by the dinosaur dudes through a firepit portal? inside their house. I recall the title for the comic being one word, but it was in a different language, possibly of Latin or German descent.

The animation shows the man trying to fight back against the dinosaur thieves but is too weak to win but somehow makes it through the portal into a dinosaur land where he encounters dinosaurs that end up becoming his companions as they search for his wife. The trailer then cuts to some kind of fight wher

Hi, I have a problem with my audio settings barely picking up my microphone at all.

I have tried just about everything. I've looked into the settings for my mic volume and it's up all the way. Realtek appears to operating normally. I know this is a known bug, but I have yet to find a solution to this problem that helps.
