Our league encountered a very odd dilemma this week in our playoff seeding and the league is unsure what to do.

6 team playoffs with 2 teams on a bye.

Team A was initially seeded at the 6th seed at the start of our playoffs but with a stat change on FRIDAY after playoffs began was awarded a win in week 14 and thus awarded the 5th seed.

The issue is that in our playoff bracket we now had the 3rd seed playing the 5th seed and 4th playing the 6th. Team A ended up winning their matchup and Team B (the 4th seed) lost their matchup. If the matchups were seeded correctly then Team B would advance and Team A would have lost.

What should we do in this situation? Keep the seedings as they were at
