I'm not sure between:

- Any Claws: low weight, fast, but short range. Innate bleed, probably good with Occult.

- Regalia of Eochaid: crazy AoW, stat intensive, easy to get early.

- Ripple Blade: good grease use, otherwise pretty average, but innate Arcane scaling means AoW doesn't matter much.

- Serpent Bow: innate Arcane scaling for status buildup, not good at damage.

- Bloody Helice: stat intensive, but most damage comes from Arcane, neat AoW.

- Any others?

I rarely play strength builds, but I'm currently doing a playthrough as a tank build with greatshield + hammer and spears.

Got Spiked Spear drop while exploring Raya Lucaria, and I'm wondering if Bloodflame Blade + Heavy Affinity Spinning Weapon AoW is viable?

I haven't upgraded it much (+6), but it seemed to trigger bleed really fast, even though I have minimum Arcane for Vagabond + Godrick's Great Rune (7+5 =12).

The Spiked Spear has 50 innate bleed, and from what I understand, Bloodflame Blade is 40 bleed over 2 seconds. Spinning Weapon hits 7 times, so am I getting 90×7 = 630 bleed buildup?

What's a good way to test this?

Thanks in advance

I haven't played since release, around the time Moonveil got nerfed and Rivers of Blood wasn't nerfed yet.

I found myself some free time and would like to play a fresh character focused on Guard Counters with the supporting items SOTE added to the game.

I need some help making a sort of plan for the different stages of the game. So I have a couple questions:

What I know:

- Hammer type weapons deal more stance damage.

- Misericorde for riposte.

- Strength affinities, like Heavy and Fire.

- Brass Shield, and Greatshields.

- Curved Sword Talisman, Greatshield Talisman, Turtle Talisman, and maybe Crimson Dagger?

For weapons:

- Would it be good to sort of go with Mace/Morning St

Anyone know if there's any coop or pvp passwords to join? I'm trying to farm covenant items, but I want to PvP/coop for them while I farm.

What are the best invasion levels and upgrade levels?Like I read Level 40 +3 is a good range, also 90 +10 for late game areas?

Also, question, if I red orb while farming in say Farron Keep, does it let me invade elsewhere? Or it won't invade anyone because it looks for Farron Keep only and I'm out of level range?

Thanks

So, [[Valkyrie's Call]] says when a creature dies if it wasn't a token nor an angel, it brings it back as an angel, it works great with Sagas, and acts as a sort of protection for Yuna.

What's the consensus? Is this card good? Or is it too slow/garbage? FWIW Yuna can bring it back too.

As far as I understand it, [[Roaming Throne]] would double wizard token triggers from stuff like [[Black Mage's Rod]], [[Coruscation Mage]] or even [[Tersa Lightshatter]] and [[Slickshot Show-Off]].

Anyone have a good list that incorporates this?

The idea is to use Hollowmurk Siege as a card advantage engine and in a pinch as evasi

I started playing a self-mill deck, and noticed I'm getting matched with people that have multiples gy hate cards in the main deck like:

  • [[Ghost Vacuum]]
  • [[Soul-Guide Lantern]]
  • [[Heritage Reclamation]]
  • [[Strategic Betrayal]]

I guess it's a horrible time to play gy strategies in Bo1 ranked?

Is it because of the prevalence of reanimator and yuna?
