Context:

Fire Emblem Heroes is the gacha mobile entry of the popular tactical RPG series, Fire Emblem. Every year, Heroes has a popularity contest called Choose Your Legends, where people vote from characters across the entire series, sans previous winners. Two winners from a female bracket, and two winners from the male, get an extra alternate “brave” costume 6 months down the line within the game, where everyone gets to pick one of the winners for free.

[The first place winner of the female bracket of the sixth Choose Your Legends is a Heroes-original character, Gullveig, the primary antagonist of the new book of the story.](https://reddit.com/r/FireEmblemHeroes/comments/10retc3/cy

It’s been asked a few times how the weapon mod abilities, such as storm whip, scale, with some answers not being entirely right. I’ve done some testing and here’s what these scale and don’t scale with.

What they do not scale with:

Firepower and Anomaly Power - mod abilities scale with neither. Note - any buffs that increase Weapon Damage actually increase firepower, so they won’t buff these abilities either.

Long Range Damage and Short Range Damage- mod abilities scale with neither. There does seem to be some damage variance, but it’s too small to be from either of these sources.

Armor pierce and resistance piercing - despite these abilities looking at enemy defenses, they don

Trust Guide

Spoiler[Guide]

In this guide, I will be going over what you should expect from trusts. While we all understand that running in DF is generally faster, Trusts are a good queue-less alternative and has quite a bit of nuance. This guide will be a WIP as I level my trusts and give new discoveries on what they do.

This is a guide for those who aren’t getting 4 Lilies per party and are quite literally keeping him frozen for the entire fight.

This guy can either be a cakewalk or a complete nightmare depending on your team comp. I’ve been PUGing it and quite a few of my parties are failing because they’re treating it like an IO zergfest, so this guide will try to maximize your chances of victory when you’re not graced with a team full of Lilies.

Boss gimmicks

Dull - this is a buff (and apparently not a status ailment) that the boss has throughout the whole fight. This causes everyone it hits to get the dull effect, which cuts your damage by a humongous percent until it goes away. This is nast

They’re located next to their portraits. It details their element, what monster type they are, what statuses they inflict, and which they’re weak to.

I hope they bring these detail pages to other stuff!

A lance weapon Type Discussion already came out (thanks u/Arimakii ), so I’m going to follow it up with the weapon I have the most experience with: Axes. Julietta was my first 5 adventurer, so by consequence, Axes are my most used weapon type. I also want to give a preliminary thanks to the folks at Gamepedia and Gamepress for their guides and damage tables, so I can put a little more substance in here other than “my own experience.” I may or may not update this as we get more axe users.

Co-op ability: Defense up

Probably the most selfish co-op ability in the game. Most other adventurers appreciate stat boosts in... literally anything else for either more damage, or even more heali

So, this thing is gonna be hard, for a few reasons.

No co-op. No discord carries, friendos.

Tanky enemies. Past the first wave, enemies start having ridiculous HP.

Lots of enemies and AoEs everywhere. And they frickin hurt.

A 3 min time limit.

So far, from my limited time in the event, here are things you need to consider.

First, you don’t need to actually get very far for rewards. You always get a ridiculous amount of Tricker Treat rewards.. However, you don’t get much of the cheap currency, so you’ll need to do the boss fights for that (hint: use getherwings for these).

Next, getting far pretty much requires a leveled event building, as hinted by it being locked by its

Unit Build

I think I'm setting this up right, AutoMod have mercy

After sitting on an extra Ike for ages, I finally have an opportunity to use his heavy blade. Since I pulled a +Atk Lute, who already has a monstrous attack, I feel this is the prime opportunity to get another heavy blade build going.

Weapon: Weirding Tome - No reason not to use this on Lute, especially since most other blue mages use the other tomes better. It also fits with the ploy theme Lute has going on.

Assist: preference - I'm going to use Draw Back when I have enough SP.

Edit: Lute does work really well with a dual rally. She already gives a lot of points in arena, especi

Does anyone remember all of the QoL and Gameplay updates over the course of the game? I'm trying to remember them for reminiscing purposes (something something darkest age)

At the top of my head, they are:

  1. HP Bars
  2. RW
  3. RW refresh
  4. Upgrade mats not taking up inventory
  5. Vault
    • battles and Ultimates
  6. Breaking Level Cap
  7. Hall of Rites
  8. Fat Chocobo store
  9. Being able to see the medal requirements and Mog's "tips" BEFORE starting a fight without using FFRK's website
  10. Updated in-dungeon UI
  11. Daily Mythril
  12. Gem Conversion
  13. Nightmare dungeons + 6* abilities
  14. Wardrobe Record
  15. Record Spheres
  16. Reasonable 5 * unique drop rates (7 star Genji Helm and Judgment

It's possible to completely avoid Adel's first Ultima if your DPS is high enough and/or you interrupt her during her cast. If you push her into her next scripted Ultima, it will automatically "interrupt" her again and completely skip the first scripted Ultima!

I tried this after I followed Dr. Mog's advice (big mistake) and tried to defend her Ultimas. It ended up eating too much time and ironically always ended up getting me killed. Doing it this way means you take significantly less damage and may be able to forego a summon as you will probably not lose damage taken medals.
