I just received my AMA membership card the other day and used their site to find local RC clubs in the area because some of them require AMA membership to join their club. My question is this.... As an AMA Member, does this mean I can fly at any AMA chartered club’s flying site without necessarily joining that club? Do I need permission first or if asked, show my AMA card at the gate?

So I saw this app in the App Store called for [Mavic FPV Waypoint & FPV](Mavic FPV - Waypoint & VR by Michele Vagnetti https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mavic-fpv-waypoint-vr/id1232877197?mt=8) and it looks like an app that could be very useful. But it wasn’t clear if I needed a VR head set. Can VR Head sets be used for actual control of a drone or parts of it? What other 3rd party apps are useful and/or popular?

My new DJI M2P is showing up today and after spending roughly $1900 for all the bells and whistles, I’m really nervous about when (not if) I crash. I expect crashing to happen but I want to trash a cheaper model more often than the expensive one.

What do you all use as a beater yet has enough features to keep you happy. I’m not too concerned with price but obviously a beater shouldn’t be more than $100 to $200ish? I’m thinking something from Parrot or Yuneec but I’m hoping you smart people can steer me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

My Mavic Pro 2 arrives today and I’ve been reading up on the rules, got the B4UFLY app installed and I’d like to find a club or group of like minded hobbyists. I’ll register my drone when i have a serial number handy and Ill be able to take my first practice flights inside a large shop area (not so sure this is wise). Any unboxing tips will be appreciated as well.

Just went to text someone and discovered that about 1/2 of all my contacts didn’t transfer over from a restored back up 7Plus, anyone else experience this?

Tried a force restart on my new Max using the procedure from the 7+, by holding the volume down button and power button until the logo appeared only to find and Emergency SOS count down appear. I didn’t wait for it to see if it made an actual call, but when the counter got down to 3, an alarm started sounding and I let go.

Did a search and found the new procedure is an extra step...

Quickly press and release Up volume

Quickly press and release Down volume

Press and hold Power button until logo appears.

Currently rocking a Series 0 SG Aluminum, 42mm. About how much is a cellular plan (at&t)? I do walk 4 miles a day but I almost always have my phone with me. I’m usually the type that wants all the bells and whistles whether I need them or not, but I’m not so sure I’d ever use the watch as a phone. Who has the cellular and is it worth it? Who doesn’t and regrets it?

I m a new convert from Antenna, and I find myself missing the Add Shortcut option. For example, I often sort Home by Top/Hour and would like to make this a Shortcut at the top of the Sub list.. example shortcut this allows quick access to the front page (Home) after I’ve already browsed the default home and gives me a chance to comment on a post before there are 50K comments. This is also handy for those who browse by “New”. I do realize that it’s not difficult to just enter the front page and perform a sort, this feature would make it that much more easier than having to do it after every hour of browsing Top/Hour.

The Hue motion sensors have temp sensors built in. Other apps and Apple Home/Siri will do/say "temperature in kitchen is...", but haven’t been able to get Alexa to do it.
