I've just finished Bug Collector by Wrath James White - loved the concept, but started to find the generous helpings of diseased semen/pus/what-have-you a bit repetitive. I would love recommendations for books that involve disease, infection and transformation but handle it differently - loved The Troop, for example, as well as The Beauty by Aliya Whitely.

Hi all! So my best friend/housemate has recently moved from a different area for work and is now living with me. We are both involved with the local Pride group and go to their lgbtqia+ meetups however it's quite a small group. The nearest bigger cities are quite studenty and she is 27. She would like to meet other trans women but we're not quite sure where to start looking for socials and groups - our local fetish club has 't-girl and admirers' parties which we think probably means chasers, and another friend says the attendees tend to skew older and more towards cross dressers plus it's basically a hookup event.

Does anyone have any suggestions for places we could look to find out about m

I enjoy a lot of obscure and extreme horror and a lot of the authors I like look like their works are only available via Amazon HOWEVER I don't really want to get stuck in the Kindle 'walled garden'. I'll also be reading content from other sources in EPUB format (sometimes converted from PDF). I'm vaguely aware that it's possible to convert Kindle files to EPUB.

My main considerations are budget, and product longevity. I've been looking at the Nook and the Boox but not sure if there's others I should consider?

Hi all! I was talking to a friend today about and told her about a horror novel I read when I was nine or ten, and how it was how I learned that gay people exist (I grew up in a very white hetero part of rural Britain). It would have been in about 1986-7 when I read it and it featured a pair of gay male killers whose thing was kidnapping young men and plucking out all their body hair before, I think, torturing them? I thought it was by someone like James Herbert or Shaun Hudson, but can't find anything that fits the bill in their bodies of works.

48F, been in peri for maybe 2.5 years. I have had a few relationships with men but have increasingly inclined towards women for the last few years, however for the last year I've been near obsessing over sex with men again. Is this normal? Is it my unused reproductive system kicking up a fuss about last chances to have babies? I have never had children and never wanted them, or found them particularly interesting. Please tell me this ends before I start hopping on any random consenting dick.

!The Boroughs is a new Netflix show set in a desert retirement community and includes a storyline wherein two characters with a substantial age gap (I estimate at least 39 years) become intimate. I've only watched up to E3 so far. The male character, Paz, has a tattoo reading '1999' so is presumably 27 although the actor is 41, and Renee is retired so presumably mid-to late sixties (actress is 70). They're super cute together with Paz being the one to pursue the older woman. It's refreshing to see an older woman/younger man AGR!!<

Like both the main male leads are flawed but Pope was just a vile excuse for a human being until suddenly...he wasn't. Dude bakes some bread and it's all good that he basically let his gang keep her as a s** slave. There's basically one or two scenes with Maggie giving him an earful and that's it. He didn't so much get a redemption arc as character retcon.

Hi all...I'm just about at my wits end here. I spoke to the women's health nurse at my surgery about 18 months ago and was prescribed 25mg patches, which increased to 50 and now 75 a few months ago. I take oral progesterone too. But I'm soooo stiff all the time still. It's mainly in my shoulders and upper arms, hips and thighs, and my calves a little - the big joints connected to the torso and long muscles. It's bloody torture. Some days it feels like a red hot wire is being jabbed into a joint and I ache all the time. Is this normal? Should I speak to my doctor again?
