LNIB M&P Gen 1 Pro Series

After about 10 years of buying on sale and discontinued Underwood ammo in .357 Sig and, .40 and box after box of Federal LE XTPs I need to downsize for vanlife.

I don’t want to run all of this through my NOLA toolbox gun, a Sig P224 DAK so I started looking for a P226 .357/.40. The web for used Sigs was 3 months of no thanks, keep your no return policy.

My LGS had a Glock Gen 3 and a M&P .40. The Smith showed 0 signs of ever being fired, the factory case was fired in 2012, looks like the night sights are dead. I went a few miles down the road and shot 150 rounds through it, functional check. I was looking for a beater.40 and found a good camp gun. Price? I knew you’d ask, to much, $400 out

Polarizing filter on the pancake

Gear question

The 26/2.8 has become my EDC truck camera for size and IQ reasons. I purchased a polarizer for it and have realized I should have bought a slim profile filter.

The slip on hood is a bit to short with the filter attached. Without the filter the slip on cap is very secure. The lens cap is still useable, but if you buy this combo, get a slim filter.

I preordered book 7 and doubt I really want it now. Released 10 years after book 6. I'm tired of last books in a series basically a waste money. Exfor, Commune, etc.

Since the credit is already spent, I’ll probably get it.thoughts?.

Pissed off middle age white dude flying cattle class.
