I’m a FTB with a provisional exchange date of Oct 28th (in Scotland so it’s fairly likely to happen).

With a month to my move what are some things I should be doing? What do you wish you’d known done or planned?

I’m in the fortunate position that it’s 5 minutes walk from where I stay now and I currently stay with my parents so no need to move in a day.

I’m thinking paint on day one before moving anything in. Measure spaces to see if my bed will fit and what size couch to order. Is it worth booking a deep clean? Or are homes usually in a good state typically?

Any words of wisdom are appreciated.
