Brought my UB450 and some discs to a weekend trip and realized I left the remote at home. Since there isn’t an option to just hit play on the player itself, I purchased a universal remote at wal mart hoping to program it to the player. Not having any luck with the remote codes I’m finding online.

Anyone successfully sync a universal remote to their UB450? Or know of any workaround to get the disc to play without using a remote?

So I really enjoy the album so I don’t want this to come off as a complaint, but listening to the album there’s really only a handful of spots where I’d say the music is really orchestral. Most of the time it’s like a string part or extra horns in the background, but I really don’t feel any of the tracks are truly driven by the orchestra.

Again - really enjoying it a lot and am happy to just listen at face value and enjoy it, but wondering if others are feeling this way.

So not exactly a jam band but I went and checked out Badbadnotgood last night in Boston - I’ve been aware of them for a bit but never really listened to them a ton. Figured it might be a good show so I went with a couple buddies. It was an amazing gig, one of the best I’ve seen in a bit. Just crazy chops from all the players, they also had a really great vocalist called Baby Rose do a bunch of songs with them and she was really excellent. At one point they had Roadrunner which is a pretty decent sized room pin drop quiet for what felt like at least 3-4 mins during a crazy sax solo.
