I am an 18 year old looking for career advice. Every time I search online or read discussions on Reddit about different professions people seem to dislike their work. Whether it is information technology computer science healthcare radiology or cybersecurity there are always comments from people saying they regret their choice and would change careers if they could. Seeing so much negative feedback makes it difficult for me to figure out which path to take. How should I navigate this as I try to choose my own career?

I would really like to persue IT or computer science career but people seem to dislike their major in these categories

This world is so messed up don’t say “oh I know it’s
Bad it’s not a new thing to know “

But believe me when I say messed up I really really mean I really mean it . I am not saying from my personal experience or something happened to me , no nothing happened but I came to know about some stuff that left me in shock I don’t even wanna tell.

Just remember this thing . This world which you think is bad it’s 100x more darker than you think not even close I say this again not even close this internet it’s not what you think it is.

Just be safe guys be safe

So I am 18 years old working at Dunkin for 3 months now . Today around 3:30 PM there were only three of us working. One coworker went on his break. That left just me and one other girl. She is not very good at taking orders yet. She is also not comfortable speaking English.

I was making coffee for the drive thru. She called me over to help a front desk customer. The order was a bit confusing. It took me about one minute to handle it. Then I went back to making coffee for the drive thru.

When I walked up to the drive thru window a man was waiting there. He looked about 60 or 65 years old. I smiled and said I was really sorry for the wait because I was helping at the front desk. "i am sorry"
