As the title says - I am in the very early stages of trying to get pricing / options for a kitchen refresh. Nothing major, not substantially changing the layout of the kitchen, just want to do new cabinets and countertops and maybe move the microwave from above the stove to an in cabinet option.
Any recommendations on general contractors and also good places to view cabinets and countertop options in town?
Thanks In Advance!
Have a bit of a unique situation that I was wondering if anyone had run into....
Our home airport is SDF, but when booking trips I often look at other "close" airports - specifically CVG because prices are often much cheaper. About a month ago I booked flights from CVG to JFK, there is a direct from Louisville to LGA, but the flight out of Cinci was $750 cheaper per person round trip.
Last week I received and email alerting me that flight times on both the outbound and return flights had changed, and I was given the option to rebook. Just for fun I used the opportunity to update the reservation to fly the SDF -> LGA route. To my surprise delta let me book that route at the same price a
That's right - it's everyone's favorite day - Masters Lotto Ticket Denial Monday!
Check your accounts, and good luck, congrats to the four to six people lucky enough to win the lotto!
Watching Oaks on TV it really seems like the majority of the crowd left prior to the 8:40pm post. I know its cold, but that late post makes for a long long day at the track. I know everyone was rightfully concerned about the late posts impact to local restaurants, but it seems like a lot of people left the track and went out for dinner anyway skipping the race?
I had been tossing around the idea of buying a Tab S11 to replace my aging Microsoft Surface for some time. The surface is nice but realistically its a compromise between a tablet and a laptop and not really great at either. I wanted the extra battery life and nicer display on the S11.
I had spent the day shopping yesterday and left the Tab 11 and the Keyboard cover in my mobile cart in the Samsung app Overnight. Woke up this AM to a push notification offering an extra $100 discount on the tablet and 40% off the keyboard. I tried to not click buy now, but at this price on what is a pretty newly released device I felt it was a good deal. I added a $30 referral discount and ended up making th
Took my first real trip since purchasing a UTR and I was excited to give it a trial run. I am traveling outside the country and historically would have taken a GL.iNET router to connect back to my UDMPro at home via Wiregard. Among other things this lets me stream YouTube.TV from a US Based IP address so I don't miss things like NFL Games while abroad.
Setup of the UTR went well, and at first everything was great. I was watching a YouTube.TV stream and had 4 other devices, phones laptops tablets etc on the UTR. It was pushing about 10Mbps across the wireguard tunnel, with some spikes I'm sure.
After about 30min the UTR rebooted. I figured maybe a
I have been keeping an eye on flights to and from the Caribbean - my wife and I are traveling there in a few days and with the recent activity in the region I have been watching for delays.
Today I noticed that AA 2816 which was scheduled to fly STT -> PHL diverted to MIA. The plane stayed on the ground at MIA for about 45min then continued on to MIA.
Anyone know what happened? Seems a very short time on the ground for anything mechanical so I assume a Medical emergency and MIA was the first place to land in the continental US but just curious.
Anyone else had issues getting the Travel Router adopted in the Unifi App? My travel router is at the "Ready for Setup" screen. I have the latest version of the UnFi Android app but am not getting a popup in the app to adopt the router.
The odd thing is the router shows up in WifiMan with a status of "booting" so it is broadcasting a signal.
Unifi device setup is usually so easy, this has been pretty frustrating and my Gl.iNET router is next to me laughing like I told you So.
Just purchased a Prodigy /w the gear up pack so it came with a RFX11 mounted to the gun. I was able to get the optic off the plate without issue, but getting the AOS plate off the slide is kicking my butt.
It looks like Springfield used all the red Loctite in the world on these screws and I am at the point where I am concerned about stripping the heads out of the Torx.
Any tips? Anyone else run into this or did I just get lucky?
I have a surface 8 with an i5 that I love, however the battery is starting to become an issue - the latest report I ran shows its at about 80% of design capacity.
As you guys know Microsoft is offering a pretty decent deal on the new Surface 13's. I think based on my needs / usage I would be ok moving to Snapdragon. They are also offering a pretty decent trade in on my Surface 8.
Before I make the jump a few questions.
How are recent experiences with Teladvance? I have seen some mixed reviews, the trade in value they are offering is a large reason I am looking at a purhcase.
I assume the keyboard and pen from my 8 will work /w the new 13...can someone just confirm?
Just flew SWA for a weekend trip to Vegas, tickets were booked prior to the baggage changes so we were not charged for bags, but a few things stood out during the trip so thought I would post.
I have never been super loyal to SWA, we are not in a major hub so I will generally shop trips across the big 4. We have historically always flown SWA when our trip includes golf, the two free bags being a huge value. We were lucky enough to have a tee time in Vegas on this trip so my wife and I checked 4 bags including two sets of clubs on this trip.
Trip to Vegas was a nonstop 4 hour flight. On time, and largely uneventful. I do mention it for two reasons. It was flown with an older 700 series. No
