Hello. In submitting application for a freshman, is there any advantage in choosing a major like Finance vs Exploratory? Thank you.

Is getting PVD a common side effect of cataract surgery? I never expected this. I now see a large bee in my vision every second of the day 4 momths after my surgery. Fortunately there's no detachment. Sounds like most people dont have issue so I dont know why this happened to me. One thing is Do Not Rub your Eye. I thought I was in a safe zone 3 months post surgery and eye was so itchy due to allergy and that's when I got this PVD after rubbing my eye.
I saw in my patient summary that I have vitreous hemorrhage and lattice degeneration. These were not discussed with me during the appointment for eye floaters. Are these things I need to be concerned about? Doctor just said there's no treatment for floater except surgery so basically nothing he can do. Thanks!
I'm 3 weeks in from when my PVD started. I think it was because I rubbed my eye from allergies and I had cataract surgery 3 months ago. Got checked by the doctor at the onset and 2.5 wks later and he didnt see any tear. But my floater went from being a cobweb to now a lot of tiny dots that I dont notice that often and a large bee size one that is really bothersome. Doctor said it will get better over time but no telling when. My fear is that I can get a tear or a detachment at any time. Is this a fear/risk that I will just have to deal with everyday? If it is a large one will it really get better over time?

My daughter got into Mays Honors but being an introvert, is concerned about the discussion type classes in Honors vs non Honors. Can someone please give more details about this? Is it free wheeling classroom discussion (people just talk, no raising hands) or more structured? What classes would be like this (most classes or just a few?). Any insight will be much appreciated. Thanks
Which one is better in terms of academics, reputation and job opportunities? Jindal Business (UTD) or Mays?
Prior to surgery, my right eye hurt often (I wore progressives). I thought it was due to cataract straining my eye. After surgery, my right eye still hurt whenever I wear progressives. It doesnt hurt when I wear readers or when I dont wear glasses. Right eye has PCO but I dont think that explains why my eye hurt. It is more like a sharp pain in the nerve. Doctor doesnt see anything else wrong with it. Any theory or advice? Thank you to this helpful group!
A month or two after my cataract surgery, my doctor said I have PCO on my right eye. How did this develop so quickly? Does it depend on the skill of the surgeon? I have Clareon monofocal which is supposed to be less prone to PCO. Also, my right eye turned from +0.25 sphere -0.75 cylinder last month to +1.5 sphere -1.5 cynlinder. Why did my astigmatism get so bad and now my distance us blurry on that eye. My doctor didnt recommend toric for this eye. Thank you
Do Faction LLC have a specific residence hall? What room types are available? Would you recommend signing up for this as a first year student? Thank you
We put down housing deposit early like October. How likely is it that we can get a single room for Hullabaloo or White Creek? Thx.
Which one would be better to stay at to be close to classes and to make friends? Thanks!
