I can't play for more than 30 minutes without this bug happening. The audio will start glitching, I'm unable to interact with anything and doors refuse to open. I've tried fixes I've found online such as changing the windows audio device, verifying game files, and not connecting my controller via bluetooth but these haven't fixed the issue. I'm on PC, 5070TI, 7800X3D and installed on a NVMe SSD with plenty of free space. I have no issues with any other games so I'm assuming Ubisoft just messed up the latest patch. Is anyone else having these issues?
My Boundary Herald has randomly turned into a sentinel ship, it happened during the Artemis quest line. Is there anyway I can get it back? It doesn't show up in the quicksilver store.
Imagine you have a deck containing the 10,000 most common words in your target language. Each card features native audio and an example sentence. You go through 50 words a day, simply reading the cards and passing all of them without grading. While this approach might not help the words stick as well as traditional Anki methods, you'll still end up with a significantly larger vocabulary by the end. The sheer number of words you'll encounter and the ease of reviewing them will outweigh the lack of active recall. This method provides bite-sized comprehensible input, similar to traditional reading and listening while allowing you to more efficiently learn the most common words in the language.
What happened to the Chinese Refold Deck? I see posts and downloads of it floating around but it isn't listed for purchase on the website.
I use this prompt in ChatGPT 4. 3.5 works as well but it gets things wrong sometimes. I've found that only inputting a paragraph at a time works best.
"Translate the following text in table format, one Arabic word per cell. Two columns, Arabic on the left and English on the right. Make sure to include every word in the passage. Continue the same thing with every Arabic text that I paste."
Copy the results into an excel spreadsheet. (In Google Sheets "right click", "paste special", "values only"). Copy the results from the spreadsheet and paste them in the box on this website. Set the output text orientation dependin
I'm studying Modern Standard Arabic and I thought I remember the course page saying that it only had 2500+ words, it now says 5000+.
I've always found doing Anki reviews a chore, and I always end up quitting eventually. However, I'm also concerned that I'm not learning optimally by not using it. I've compromised by just using it for quick review. I'm working through a few frequency decks, and I still spend a second or two trying to recall the meaning, but I pass every card regardless of whether I got it right or not. I'm doing 100 cards a day, and I assume that being exposed to so many words will speed up my acquisition of them during immersion. I'm curious if anyone else uses Anki like this.
Lets say you do speed review when you don't have any words due for review. Will the words that you get right affect the scheduled review time?
I've been hearing rumors that they're starting to make Arabic linguists relang into Russian or Chinese, some even before they become operational. Can anyone confirm this?
I have content from my workbook that I upload onto LingQ to read. However, I've encountered and extremely annoying issue, whenever I copy and paste text from the PDF into a word document, it turns the ك letters into آ and I have to manually change all of them back. As you might imagine, this is a very tedious process. Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this issue?
I'm currently using LingQ to read Arabic content. I already know the alphabet but sounding out every word I don't know is tedious so I usually just use the built in text to speech dictionary to learn how to pronounce the word. I'm assuming I'll eventually be able to immediately recognize how to pronounce words as soon as I see them, just like in English. Am I hindering my learning by reading this way?
Are you guys using any other weight plates with this rucksack? I'm not willing to pay $90 for a 20lb weight when they're much cheaper on amazon but I'm not sure if another brand will fit properly.
