Anyone know anything about the Hohner Goliath? My friend found one, on it, it says Stutgart Germany, 1871 - 1881. Just want to know how rare it is, if it is worth anything, playability, etc. Thank you

If you dress in cosplay as a Marvel character under a copyright, and make money from appearances at conventions, is that a violation of copyright?
One of the opening scenes has a car driving down a road. It stops, and literally like about 100 deer come out into the road and they all stare into the camera— very creepy. I want to check that movie out again just for that scene alone, but I forget the name!
I am a musician and when I post performances online, I only perform folk songs from decades ago, and I always do research to make sure they are out of copyright. I was going to start making these videos with a backdrop behind me of a tapestry which has a nature scene and another with an ocean scene. I have been so focused on making sure that the songs I play are out of copyright, that I forgot about the backdrop. Could I get in copyright trouble for using someone else’s artistic drawings or photos on the backdrop in the video? I probably will end up using a black sheet just to be sure. I’m from the U.S.A. Thank you.
I just received my schedule for next school year. I will be in inclusion math for a few classes. I also will have two small group self-contained classes, one an Algebra class and a Geometry class. I am only certified in Special Education, and I am not certified in regular Ed. Math. I was told that as long as I teach the self-contained classes a minority of the time in my schedule, then I don’t need the dual certification, that having just the SPED one is okay. I am in Massachusetts.
Several people have told me that I don’t need the dual certification but I just want to be sure. It is true that I always hear stories about teachers getting waivers, etc. and I have been teaching these s
I am a photographer and I am experimenting with creating “horror” photography. I am using lots of halloween props and costumes but now I am wondering if there would be a copyright issue. After all, even though my creativity is in how I arrange these items, these items themselves are the artistic creations of others.
In general, I don’t like taking pictures of other people’s art. However, I consider photography “the art of seeing” and other artwork, like statues, gravestones, and stained glass windows are common subjects with photographers. I had a hard time figuring out how to do the horror photos, until I started using the props. But please let me know if using these infringes on a
Does anyone know why that bit of film where the Doors arrive at the airport (in Heathrow, I think) is always immediately cut off after someone asks Jim what his “occupation” is, and then we get that great smile? I always wanted to see the rest of that…
I was told today that if you have a quiz with around 12 algebra problems, and, for an IEP student, you reduce the problems to 8 or 6, that this a modification. I thought this is an accommodation, because I am not making any difference to the problems, there are just less of them. I thought a modification is when you make a major change to the content, like using a Great Gatsby graphic novel instead of the novel. Let me know, I could be wrong.
Hi, as you know, the first quarter is about to end. I have a new Sped director who wants us to have a reconvene meeting with the parent, general ed. Teacher and the student, for every student on my liaison list that is failing a class. In the past, when this has happened, I will certainly make a phone call home, and give constant updates throughout the following weeks by emails or more phone calls, etc., but a meeting?? I currently have four IEP students failing at least one class, so I have to scramble to have four meetings, trying to get the general Ed. Teacher there, etc. I don’t think I’m legally obligated to do this, and my focus is more on goals than grades anyway (although I certainl

It’s sad that the bust of Jim that used to be on his grave (and was shown in the film) is no longer there. I think it was stolen. It’s too bad because it was a beautiful tribute. Now that I think of it, it might have been the only public “statue” of Jim. Does anyone know if there is an official-type statue of Jim anywhere, like the one of Elvis? I know that they have that huge mural of him in L.A.
Heard a rumor that “When the Music’s Over” is going to be played on the show tonight!
