Recently read a book by David Graber (RIP) called Bullshit Jobs. He defines a bullshit job as the following

"a form of paid employment that is so completely pointless, unnecessary, or pernicious that even the employee cannot justify its existence even though, as part of the conditions of employment, the employee feels obliged to pretend that this is not the case"

Do you pretend to work?

How has the pandemic affected your job?

Do you enjoy turning up and barely working, or does it drain your life force and reduce your morale?

I highly recommend his book.

The link to the spreadsheet is here. It is a bit messy. Feedback is encouraged ^_^

Since the foundation of the state there has been 58 private members bills (PMB) that have become law.

73.2% of which originated from the Dáil. 26.8% originated from the Seanad.

The member who introduced the most PMBs is Alan Shatter of Fine Gael with 4.

18 have become law since 2013 None became law between the years 1966 to 1988. 19 became law under the Irish Free State.

Only one PMB passed to amend the constitution.

I have a question to people who knows more than I. Why was there no PMB that be

I was looking up information about the referendum in New Zealand about euthanasia. I found out that it was a private members' bill, it turns out the New Zealand parliament passes 2 or 3 private members' bills every year.

So I was just thinking if there's many private members' bills passed by the Oireachtas. There's not very many from what I can gather. I

think the last private members bill that passed all stages of the Oireachtas was the Intoxicating Liquor (Amendment) Act 2018 (the act that allowed pubs to open on good Friday)

If anyone has a comprehensive list of all the private members' bills Passed by the Oireachtas it would be very much appreciated.
