I know they use top quality leather and Krause ring binders etc... but the prices still seem way too high!
Are they creating/exploiting a luxury brand so deliberately use premium pricing - or does the money actually pay for a far better product and first class customer service and aftercare?

So these convertors allow you to use Fountain Pen Ink in a Rollerball by switching out the Nib section - but are they any good?

Are there any high quality covers which you can use to put over the end of a fixed nib pencil so it becomes pocket safe ??
What do you guys use?
I'm thinking specifically for pencils like the Pilot S20, KT Metal, Parker Jotter...
Is the AT just a cheaper version of the Nero with the exact same internals, just a lower quality body?
Or is the AT entirely different with everything lower quality, including the internal mechanism?
Is there one big "main" reason why people still use good ole wooden pencils for writing that mechanical pencils simply can't compete with?
Or is it lots of subtle reasons?
Would love to know your thoughts as I figured mechanical pencils were invented to resolve all the flaws wooden pencils have !
Been reading that KT pencils have one major flaw - that the nib has play and wobbles... is there any way to modify them to eliminate the problem?
Also, from your experience, which of the KT range has the most stable nib - and does it stay that way permanently, or become loose after using for a long while?

Why don't manufacturers offer lead in assorted packs which offer a variety of thickness or grade?
It would make it so much easier to try out different ones to find the best for your needs!
Is it just corporate greed, because they want us to spend all that extra money on buying a dozen of their full packs in a single thickness/grade?
