I've heard lots of different and opposing opinions about what players should do with their V skills and Nodestones before the upcoming patch. Honestly fair enough, different opinions make a discussion. Although when the consensus is unclear, it's probably based on incomplete information and I'd rather figure it out on my own. I tried reading the OrangeMushroom patch notes but it doesn't say everything.

What I really want to understand is what will happen to each of the resources and what the conversion rates will be:

  • Unopened Nodestones
  • Unopened Experience Nodestones
  • Skill nodes (unused duplicates)
  • Skill nodes (enhanced)
  • Boost nodes (unused duplicates)
  • Boost nodes (enhanced)

In preparation for the CW3 duo experience with a good friend, I'm trying to research the best duo compositions. I keep hearing about Bishop, Paladin, Lynn, etc. - but I have no idea how they actually compare against each other, and the Maplestory skill descriptions aren't great either (e.g. how the heck does Paladin's Divine Echo actually work?!)

Ultimately what I'm after is a tier list, or preferably a mathematical analysis, done for all characters on how they can buff their party members or debuff a boss for a percentage of final damage increase. Even just a handy list of effects and simple descriptors would be nice, e.g. "Full uptime 30% IED buff" for Lynn.

Would the best duo compositio

I've just come back to the game after about 4 or 5 years. I have very little idea how this Hyper Burning and Challenger World stuff works, yet even if they can stack or multiply together for some true turbo levelling.

I've read that the real goal of Challenger World is to reach Lv260 for the 20 Legion Potions. Is this feasible with only a month left of the event, and only 2-3 hours of playtime each day? I expect there's surely some feasibility or else the Wild Hunter event itself wouldn't finish on Lv260, but I wonder if that's no-lifing hours or semi-casual hours.

Do I somehow disadvantage myself in the future if I participate in this Challenger World event? I don't know if the whole "onc

Going through accessory tier lists, I don't see anything else with as high of a P.Atk stat other than the Relics. Whereas this accessory also gives a meaty 30% P.Atk and a bonus 10% P.Res down on break.

Like, that seems absolutely busted. Mathematically if you disregard the passive P.Atk buff, the effects are equivalent to 30% overall increase in damage compared against a typical 100 P.Atk accessory. If you do factor it in then it's a 60% increase. Is there anything else in JP that even compares?

I'm F2P but I incidentally acquired A1 NieR while going for Kaine. If the accessory truly is the best even in JP, I don't mind skipping a couple of characters to boost every DPS I'll ever get.

I think they should, based on her Regen stacking with normal Regen and Alaune's BP regen stacking with normal BP regen buffs. It would mean a lot if they do; it would be a totally unique source of damage boosting.

On a related topic, I am curious if Rinyuu's SP Regen stacks with Nephti's SP Regen. I think Rinyuu might make a great backpack for Nephti.

I placed all the S-tier sets and their stat bonuses into a spreadsheet for Slime Castle gear analysis to help me calculate how the different sets compare against each other.

My motive for doing this (aside from ensuring wise resource spending) was that I found the top leaderboard a bit odd. They're pretty much all heading towards Dragonslayer's Greatsword + Accessory and Dominator's Head + Armor, and the parts are obviously good, but there are some effects like ThunderGod's 2/4-set bonus which seem more heavily gamechanging than a simple boost to damage output. Dragonslayer's Accessory is

From what I understand, the passive of team P/E def and regen are unique and powerful, which makes Tatloch quite useful. The shield shaving effectiveness can also be great where the Fan weakness is applicable.

Although as a 1-month new player, what I'm looking for are characters who can be slotted into just about every team and help to meet the thresholds of both fast and slow clears, while still being useful in end-game content. Is Tatloch useful enough in end-game compositions to be worth pulling and will she make a difference in the clear thresholds?

Currently my team is Leon + Viola, Lynette + Primrose EX, Lars + Peredir, and Solon + Cecily. I use that team in literally every encounter

Hi everyone. I have what is hopefully a simple request and I should expect Power Query to have an easy solution for it already, but maybe I just can't find it.

To be concise, I want to make a query and reference the resulting dataset into other queries. This needs to be efficient because the initial query is very slow. I therefore anticipate the method will involve caching the result of the initial query for re-use into follow-up queries. If nothing else, I would be satisfied with re-using a source data table itself, as that's the slow part of this.

I really expected that simply using the "reference" feature would be it, but apparently that embeds the referenced query into the follow-up qu

To preface this post, I'm not complaining. I've had a total blast since I started playing this game. There's just something that's been bugging me a bit.

By principle, Physical Attackers and Special Attackers should take roughly equal advantage of the fusion mechanics if it was balanced right. Reason being, the ratios of representation across the many tiers and categories of builds is pretty good in vanilla Pokemon, and I've always had the impression that was intentional by design.

Although in PIF, I think it's skewed in favour of Special Attackers because of how stats are calculated. That is, the head mainly dictates the HP/SpA/SpD stats and the body mainly dictates the Atk/Def/Spe stats.

My question is basic on the face of it, but I mean it quite literally. I'll be perfectly honest and say that I've just started looking into the application. Although what I see isn't very impressive compared to what I can achieve with Excel spreadsheets. It also doesn't help that a lot of answers I read are along the lines of "prepare some of this data in Excel first".

In Excel, you can do really fancy stuff with LAMBDA formulas, VBA macros, FILTERS, and so forth. Also, Excel is significantly more accessible because most people can at least open a spreadsheet, click some checkboxes, and navigate through sheets. Not quite the case with Power BI - so other than the clear data visualisation be
