At first, I was just a bit disappointed in the length, but could otherwise live with the new hairstyle introduced this patch.

But after looking at some of the winning entries from 2023 I am livid.

SE literally has people doing the work for them in designing these things and they still choose the most boring option. They don’t even have an excuse for graphics because some of the hairstyles made available to other races already have clipping issues (looking at you straight hair with headband clipping through Viera ears).

This is so lazy, it’s unreal. I was thinking about supporting them and buying one of the FFT collab outfits because I genuinely enjoy that game and could support twofol

No more entering costume contests with your underwear and unpaid assets claiming you’re a character from lord of the rings.

No more static nights where I’m forced to be a lala with the rest of the imbeciles for “team spirit.”

No more of 80 ping spiking to 300 ping during every raidwide.

But why stop with mare? Get rid of glamourer too.

Why should I have to pay for mogstation when people can just pirate it and look better than me? Why am I being punished for being a good citizen contributing to the economic health of the game? No longer.

Why stop there? Get rid of AM.

Make people earn their uwu clear. Gaols unsolvable without AM? Too bad. Get good “Ultimate Legend”

Prefacing this by saying this is not a bad thing by any means since there’s something for everyone!!!

As someone who likes interacting with every aspect of the game (casual content all the way through ultimate raiding) I kind of feel…overwhelmed? at the amount of content in endgame. I also have a regular 9-5 and irl stuff outside of the game, so that may be a factor in how I’m feeling. However, for endgame content thus far we have:

• Cosmic Exploration
• Second tier of savage
• Occult Crescent

Combined with my dailies and other in-game goals (farming FRU for totems, working on old relics, etc) it feels like there’s a lot that demands attention when I can only commit a bit of time to

Unreliable, under-educated, unmotivated, antisocial, and unoriginal. They’ve set the bar so low for future expectations that anyone with an inkling of ambition will be far more valuable than they’ll ever be.

I used to worry about having to compete with younger, more technologically savvy individuals. Now I’m content when I sleep at night all the while knowing there’s really nothing to worry about.
