Not too up to date on all things related to the remaster, though I do hope it stays as faithful to the original as possible. However, if they were to make any changes, I personally have my fingers crossed for the devs to overcome the engine limitations of 2010 and increase the scope of the Battle of Hoover Dam. I'm not sure exactly how this would play out, but seeing the vision I've had in my mind of this set piece translated into the game would be a dream come true, literally.

I remember looking forward to seeing the players on PC play updates in advance, and there’d be wacky stuff in those builds that wouldn’t make it to the actual game.

I don’t even know when it was removed, as I stopped playing around 2019, but it just struck me as weird to get rid of such an environment.

I'd like to grab a gift for my coworker about warhammer (though he does dabble in the medieval version of it as well) but I'm not too familiar with the setting. We talk about it from time to time, and I've picked up on the fact that his favorites include : Deathwatch and Nightlords. Apart from those, I think he has an interest in Tyrranids and Phoenix lords. He also most recently painted a Khorn Berserker, just having finished the colors on it.

I'm not too well versed in Warhammer 40k, but I know a guy who's a big fan and he tells me about it from time to time and I'd like to grab him a gift.

I don't exactly know what he does and doesn't have, but off my memory he likes Deathwatch the most, and also is a fan of the Nightlords and Crimson Guard. I'm unsure exactly what to grab, since I don't wanna get something he already has, so I'm assuming a unique unit would probably be the best idea. Oh- and Tyrranids. And he recently got a Khorne Berserker set.

I was considering paint, but I figured that might be a bit of a bland and forgetful sorta gift.

Dunno, just been in a slump lately. Has AE gone through anything similar? How did you overcome it? I just waste so much time, and went from achieving top scores to just absolutely mediocre.

A bit of context, I went from regularly studying around and exceeding 5 hours a day from September until the start of February this year consistently. but after I can barely muster up working anymore. Yeah that’s right, it’s been 3 months of basically wasting time. I don’t know what’s wrong with me, it’s not like the exams I’m studying for are any less important. I don’t know what happened, it’s like I flipped a switch. I’m just a slothful fuck up, no other way to put it

Feeling hopeless at university

I just entered my second year of university and I just don’t know what to do anymore, I feel like I’m in front of a massive wall. I’m writing this in between my study session because I’m lost and losing motivation.

Basically during the first half of my freshman year I ended up in a really bad spot mentally and got bad grades. Over the winter I had a boost in drive and ended up with a pretty linear improvement in my grades (Dutch system so I went from a low 6 to getting 8s in my last period). I was incredibly proud of myself over the summer, and was pretty excited to go back into this next year, if I was able to keep this up I might have a shot at even doing

I saw a figure where it said that the Chinese stock market is traded around 80-90% by retail traders and i was interested as to why the contrast between retail and institutional volume exist between both markets (as 25-30% of NYSE volume is retail)

I assume it wasn’t always like this - so when did this divergence occur as well? and is there any significant effect this holds between the two markets?

seeing AMD jump like this really got me in my feels. I was sitting in AMD for a while at 165, after it went both to 190 and back to the 150s. at a certain point it was consolidating for too long and I listened to the people on here who were calling it a shit stock and sold at small loss. I figured it would go to 140 and it shot up the 200s the following day.

I’m at least glad the people who held through that period are up now 🥲 might look for a reentry if it ever hits the 200s again

I've been loving this type of sound recently. it's a little difficult to describe what I mean, but I think it's mainly hip hop with an assortment of synths. some examples include
