I have an 86 Nissan stanza wagon for which a replacement passenger side engine mount doesn't exist because there are only about 100 of these cars left in the US.. I recently glued two hockey pucks together and am using those as a temporary mount until I find a solution. It works better than the old mount that had almost no rubber left, but there is still an uncomfortable amount of vibration.
Recently I've been thinking about experimenting with printing in TPU but I can't find any high-heat TPU filaments (at least none in stock anywhere). If I were to procure this kind of filament would it even work? What infill should I print it in? Would it be able to handle the heat of an engine-bay??
Fellow humans I can type in <capital-letters=false> I have discovered this by learning from other humans, like myself <HUMAN=YATOTALLYNOTAROBOTDONTEVENWORRYABOUTITBRO> let us all converse in "lower-case" english in the comment section.
The reason i'm posting this is to get any opposing or agreeing opinions on this subject.
So I was commenting on a post and my dad read the title and scoffed; he proceeded to rant that time travel in it of itself is impossible. Obviously, I'm on the fence here, and I'll jump down onto whatever side has the most evidence. I'm gonna sum up his reasoning into a few questions:
regarding time travel to the past: how could time be "undone" so to speak? he refers to traveling into the past like rewinding a tape, and I countered by saying it would be more like transplanting yourself into a different time, not rewinding it like a tape and "undoing" things. We both seem to have separate opinions rega
