In the first bit we learns fiends are essentially like anyone else. Later stories try to downplay them and yet we see glimpses.

Did they come here the same way as humans, but the story is told from the perspective of humans (great souls)?

How can someone say Nox isn’t a good soul who cares about his friends?

I don’t accept that the Blood Ox is shit a coward who hides behind others like so many great souls do.

There is more, what am I missing?

PS thank you for any guidance - I’m about to be 10% of the way of book three again. Favorite Friend Nox changed my entire opinion on fiends, far before you might think.

Something else is going on.

I’ve turned off all sound effects because I listen to other things while playing, but the thunder persists.

It is frustrating and I mostly ignore the tour due to this issue.

I can understand the storyline, but it seems quite implausible. He didn’t love her all this time. Maybe he learned to love her. And over time she appreciated him.

I made the hard choice of euthanizing my 16 year old friend 2 weeks ago.

Online sources say I should wait 3-4 months to adopt again. I live alone, I miss him every time I come home, open the food closet, open a can, go to my bed.

When the guard flicks his finger and the crossbow releases he throws it back at the crossbowman. I feel like he should have thrown it at the door guard, he gave the order.

Am I wrong in thinking this. I love this scene and relisten often, but it is always annoying that he kills the person following orders and not the one giving them.

I listen to the audio stories and can’t search for “my honor remains.” I love re-listening to my favorite parts of the series, but I’m struggling to find this part of the story.
