Hi there!

We picked up our new to us 2008 GT this afternoon.

Really like the car, just what we needed.

However noticing a few quirks I'd like some info on.

Firstly the ambient lighting inside doesn't seem to work. The dash says it's on, set to blue and full brightness but nothing? Any tips?

Also when we lock the car and walk away, loads on the interior icons on the wheel etc stay lit up? Is this normal?

Thanks in advance

Hey all!

One of our ancient CNC lathes had a breakdown. Turns out the power supply for submerged in coolant which it didn't much enjoy.

We have managed to get it back up and running, new supply etc. however now all our programs are gone (not a major issue in this one) but along with this, we can't seem to input any new ones.

Part of me is thinking a setting had changed or parameters have wiped :(

It's an old girl, been here many years and documentation has gone a miss over the years.

Any pointers on what to do next?

It could just be a simple setting change. We are contacting the manufacturer to see if they can provide any info but I imagine not so just trying to do what we can while

Hey all.i thought choosing the PC would be the hard part.. but that was simple. Now I have the PC in hand and need to decide on a monitor

Mostly will be used for gaming, maybe 10% general computer use.

Budget of around £400 can't go much higher.

I've been told to look at the

MSI MAG 271QP QD-OLED X28

LG UltraGear 27GX704A-B

ASUS ROG STRIX OLED XG27AQDMG

And I'm stuck.

Some say one is great, then someone will say it's not very bright, some have pink banding? I don't really know. So confused. I can't really imagine there's that much in it for my use

Any help appreciated. :)

Any one else waiting in the UK for theirs?

Mine said 13th Jan since ordering at some point early in Dec.

The day has come and gone and it still says the same?

Hi there! I've been thinking about trying guitar again recently (had a short burst back in my teens many years ago)

So I'm treating myself as a complete beginner. I've stumbled across these 2 models and am trying to decide which is the best but for me at this point? There's roughly a £50 difference for the 311H here

Any advice greatly appreciated!

I've seen a guitar I like on Gears4Music.

They have it marked down as used (Very Good Condition)

I'm looking to start my guitar journey so I'm not against buying used at this stage, just wondering if anyone's had any experience buying used from them and were you happy with the condition etc. they give little to no information about the actual unit really

I've requested a support ticket to ask about age etc.

Thanks in advance!

Matt

Hey all

Currently my car is running stock shocks but with Tien S Green Springs (done by a previous owner, I was unaware when I purchased it)

Any way, the ride is just too hard imo. Every bump or pot hole feels horrendous to me.

I don’t track the car, but tend to daily drive it if the weather is good.

Whats the best option for me? I know Ohlins are the best, but I’m not able to justify spending quite that much vs the mileage I actually cover.

I see Koni and Bilstein sets are fairly well recommended. Ride height isn’t a big issue. I do love how it looks at the moment on the current set up, but if raising it makes it feel better, I’m up for that

Will addressing this see

Is this game running any better on Switch 2? Tempted to pick it up but hear the original switch struggles a bit

Randomly trying to find out what a game was called that we had back in primary school.

It was on an old computer, maybe Acorn/Macintosh something like that.

All I have is a vague memory that it consisted of a few mini games of sorts, and one of them was like controlling a juicing machine on a conveyor belt to mix ingredients into a bottle, maybe..

I thought it was simply titled "Mission" but that's turning up zero results

Thanks in advance!

We loved the series so introduced our kids to it so we are now rewatching it with them, and they love it. Sure some jokes/references go over their heads but they are in love with all the characters.

I picked up this book for our eldest (9) to look through! I'm guessing it's fine for his age, he's a strong reader, but I was more curious about if the content is appropriate? I'm sure its fine and in keeping with the show etc.

Thanks in advance!

I'm not really clued up on all this.

Anyway I somehow used a save state a while back in my play through. Since then I made about 1-2 hours progress using the in-game save on Pokémon Crystal.

Turned it off.

Came back just now and it somehow reloaded that old save state and I'm guessing my 1-2 hours is lost?

I imagine this is a lesson learnt situation but I'm happy using in-game saves for this, and to then somehow lose all that is a bummer. Unless there's a way?

Thanks all

Today, there's so many easy options on mobile etc for games that you can just load up for a quick blast without too much commitment, and with an addictive hook to keep you coming back.

What are some equivalent retro games that fit this description?

Fancy having a few options on the device when I just want a quick score chase and so on! Any recommendations?

Thanks!
