Has anyone run into a creditor requesting adequate protection payments for a reverse mortgage? Besides what's in §361 what's a good basis or rule for a secured creditor to demand adequate protection payments in such cases?

I have a pending 13 where a Debtor had an old (repayment contract dated 2015) SERS debt for overpayment on disability benefits but they failed to file a claim. I noticed them at the right address. Has anyone had them come back and challenge dischargability before?

Howdy guys,

Having some issues with a 2003 5.0 Mercruiser MCM. Just got it and it seems to die on me in certain situations. Troubleshooting so far:

  1. Thermostat was stuck open, replaced thermostat. Heats up nicely now but no change in how engine runs.

  2. Replaced fuel filter, no change.

  3. Sprayed carb cleaner in engine overnight and let it sit, no change.

  4. Added new fuel and fuel and cleaner into tank, no change.

  5. Tried raising the RPMs at idle a bit but no change.

  6. Adjusted richness screw which helped a tiny bit in the idling but not with other issues.

  7. Sometimes has issues with idling, generally okay. When get off throttle quickly and into idle may stumble and die.

  8. usual

In the past year has anyone filed a case in the ND of TX and successfully discharged private student loans without a hardship discharge? I saw some case law late last year mentioning that their district had some ruling on treating student loans as GUCs. I haven't been able to find anything following up about this though; I would surmise that if it was true NDTX would have a sudden influx of new "residents."

Have any of you used the Wis. Stat. § 815.18(3)(b) for exempting a truck driver's truck? I should have enough from the vehicle exemption but I wanted to make sure I'm clear just in case the value of the truck is higher than the client states. I'm a regular IL filer doing my first WI BK case so wanted to run it by my fellow counselors. Thanks.

Note: Wis. Stat. § 815.18(3)(b) ~Business and farm property: equipment, inventory, tools of trade.

What are you guys using for bankruptcy software? I've been using BestCase Bankruptcy for my cases but their software licenses are getting out of hand. I was looking into CINcompass but deplore the fact that it's browser only and requires a constant connection. Any experience with other programs or why you chose one over another?

So I have one of the infamous parking brake service required warnings on the dash show up along with the constantly red flashing parking brake light. However, unlike what typically happens that the rear brakes lock up, mine seem to be inoperable overall. I can't enable the parking brake or use cruise control.

I dropped it at a dealership and at a independent and they said their computer couldn't read what was wrong because it wasn't reading the parking brake module that controls the parking brake. They wanted between $1,500 and $3,500 to diagnose it; I rather try to figure it out on my own.

Is this separate from the 'normal' ABS brake module under the air box? Any ideas?

Hello. Rather odd search I'm on, I'm looking for a car with a higher center console, preferably a wider console that provides a nice driver oriented set up. Budget is under $15,000. No SUVs (unless manual), and no pickups. Gets at least 20MPG. Prefer leather seats.

I like cars and have owned a few: 300ZX, S2000, Sonata, MR2 Spyder, BMW X3 (6 speed manual), Taurus, Cooper S, Tiburon, Passat Wagon W8, Wrangler, Volvo XC70, Saab 9-3 Aero, Crossfire, and a few others. I'd like to not repeat a car so those are generally out.

One car I had in mind that I liked was the CT200H which has a nice wide center console but is painfully slow.
