Too late to register?

Academic Advising/Counseling

If I register for classes today, is it too late to receive financial aid? I was unsure if I would be able to complete this upcoming semester but I found out this morning that I will he able to. I dont want to register and be too late for financial aid and have to pay out of pocket. I did attend fall 2025 so was already approved for a fall and spring semester.

Hi everyone. I live in Southern California and I am looking for adult drop in classes. Specifically if I can drop in and ask to wear my pointe shoes. I usually take pointe at my regular studio but I am now working during the pointe classes. Most ballet schools/studios require a class be taken 3 times a week to take their pointe class but I already take classes weekly at my local college (the instructor is my instructor from the studio) is there anywhere anyone can think of that will allow me to wear my pointe shoes to class? Even if its just the barre or even if I have to take an additional class there, that is ok, I just cant commit to 3 times a week, plus the pointe class. In my actual cit

Hi everyone! I'm really struggling to find a dance backpack that will fit all my dancw shoes! Does anyone have any reccomend that are large capacity. I have a pair of pointe shoes, tap shoes, Ballroom shoes (also jazz and ballet flats but those basically fit anywhere). I also like to carry an injury prevention pouch (deep blue, advil, ace bandage, knee sleeve, band aids -I'm an adult dancer 😆) plus my ball for my foot rolling and a theraband. My ballet warm ups too. I dont care about my waterbottle, I carry it anyways ways. Its a 96oz bottle so, to big to fit anywhere anyways. I can't seem to find ppl with the backpacks with more then pointe shoes and ballet flats. I usually use duffles but

Yall, I may not be the brightest crayon in the box 💀💀 I'm sure some of you have probably seen me post about my feet and pointe shoes before. I have been en pointe over a year and still struggle to fully get over my box consistently. I have increased thereband workouts and releves and everything and it got a little better but still wasn't getting over every single time. Today, feeling fed up and thinking about giving up I realized..... yall, I have not been pointing my toes fully while up 💀💀💀. I have been so focused on more ankle range and trying to pointe my ankle harder and harder every time. And I was like, my ankles are not getting any more range. I put on one shoe today and just looked

I know this sounds crazy, and it should be obvious but when you guys dance are you actively using your muscles the whole time? I am sure to engage my muscles during barre and in center but when dancing I definitely "feel" the music/movement and am not engaging my arms, or back, and not always my legs. I'm just dancing if that makes any since. Since staring pointe a few months ago I realized my flat work looks better right after pointe and I think is because my muscles are activated? While wearing my pointe shoes all my muscles are activated otherwise I can't do anything but stand there lol. To think of using all my muscles all the time seems exausting!!! Is this what I'm missing to move my d

Hi everyone, I am 33 I just got my first pair or pointe shoes last week and had my first class 2 days ago. I started at 29 and never took ballet prior to that. I am soooo close to being over my box but I'm just a hair away. If I sousous plie and straighten I am fully on my box. If I'm in first or second position I am almost there but when I have a tiny push to my heel I make it fully on my box and I can hold it there myself too, but I can't really make it myself. I haven't broken in my shoe at all and the fitter gave me a hard shank (nikolay streampointe) so I'm wondering should I try to break them in a little bit to help with this? I'm scared to break them in and then it dies very quickly.

Dance Program Audition process

Academic Advising/Counseling

Hi everyone! I recently applied for the dance program and have auditions this weekend. I'm so nervous! Is the audition very hard? I recently received my Associates in dance but I'm still worried. Are there and tripple pirouettes or fouettes at all? How long before we find out if we passed? Last but not least, do I need to come with any choreography prepared? Thank you all in advance!

I have Been checking my wmr all day and got maxed out. I have been checking my transcripts all day. Around 5 I got the tiniest update to my transcript "as of date" from January 18 to February 22 (I think). My top two transcript boxes were NA. Then at 9 I checked again and my top two transcripts 2020 were finally available!!! I opened them and it was just a run down of transactions. Then I get home and check again, and my ddd is on there!!.

So just a recap... Filed Feb 9, with H&R accepted 2/12. Had bars all with tt all the way up until March 5/ the 21st day. Bars left and so did tt. Called that following Monday. The rep said there was no issue with my return I just had to wait. No move

So I just made a post like an hour or 2 ago but idk how to update it smh. In my original post I was asking if its worth checking wmr or transcripts more then once a day, or even each day, since I'm an 05 cycle. Everyone mostly said "basically" and I was like ok, ill stop checking. Well tbat didn't last too long I got on and my 2020 return transcript is still na BUT my account transcript for 2020 (been available this whole time) now has things on it!!!!. B4 it was literally just two 290 codes from may last year and some other date cant remember. Now I have codes all the way down and it shows the 2 first stimulus with all the deposit codes and credit codes, AND my as of date changed from 1/18

Worth checking again?

General Question

I know the irs website says once every 24 hours but has anyone checked transcripts/wmr and it read something different during the day after checking it in the morning? Has anyone ever gotten a mid day update? Also, what's the relationship to mid day updates and cycle dates? My transcript was NA this morning, could that change today even if I'm (usually) cycle 05?
