Hi all, I’ve been a full time nanny for 3 years now after being regular part-time for 3 years prior to that (while I was in university for a non-childcare related degree.)

I planned to go back to school part time this September, but unfortunately that’s been delayed to January 2027. I now have a few extra hours per week and a bit of a learning itch, and I’m wondering if anybody has some recommendations for online courses/certifications that might help me jazz up my CV.

My experience is very diverse and I’ve never had trouble getting the job I wanted without a related university degree, and I’ve mostly learned through experience, books, and research. As such, I wonder about a more “niche”

I’ve been to a few online meetings but nervous to go to an in person one. I’m not sure if I need a sponsor or not, but I always hear about them and curious how that connection happens in the first place, if it was a route I wanted to take?
