Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask!

I've got a 2025 Subaru with an extended warranty. The maintenance schedule calls for oil changes every 10,000 KM or 6 months, whichever comes first. I'm only at ~8,500 KM right now but just realized the 6 month mark would have been early July so I'm currently at about 7 months.

  1. Is this a concern for the warranty? I understand if they can link the lack of oil change to a specific mechanical problem, then I'm SOL. But how likely is it that being one month late, but still under the KMs, would give them the grounds to do that with?

  2. The earliest appointment at Subaru is August 10. Is it safer to go to a quick lube place (as sketchy as those c

Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask! It may seem like a car maintenance question but I'm really just concerned with the terms of the warranty.

Hello!

I couldn't find answer to my questions already posted. I've never graded my yard before but there are some spots around the house that have reverse grading toward the house, or are at least completely flat. I have the general concept from watching some videos but I have few questions:

  1. Do I need to remove and gravel, grass, weeds, etc. before dumping new soil, or can I just put it right on top of whatever's there?

  2. Does the soil need to be packed down tight or is it sufficient to just spread it around with a rake?

  3. There are some spots around the house that are lawn/grass, and others connected to the driveway are just gravel. Do I use the same soil (clay soil?) for each,

Hi!

Wondering if anyone has compiled all the previous DCS sales anywhere. I'm hoping to get a sense of how often sales happen, which modules have been discounted, and the lowest price for each module to date.

Thank you :)

Just wondering if you'll always be notified that influence has changed with a party member, or if it can just happen quietly and you have to figure it out. Specifically I'm trying to get high influence with Handmaiden so I'm doing Nar Shaddaa first, and during the first interaction with the Exchange thugs, I choose to save the man they're hassling so I get a LS point notification message, but nothing about an influence change with Handmaiden. Does that just happen behind the scenes and you have to know that LS actions will always influence her?

Thanks!

Bonjour!

Hi all,

An aging family member has had a snowmobile parked at our place for a few years and they finally want to sell it.

As far as I can tell, the model is a Skidoo Backcountry Freestyle 550, or least it looks identical to the pictures I see online. It hasn't been turned on in at least 3 years and I can't guarantee whatsoever that it runs well or at all. We're sure it needs at least a new battery if not more.

We all just want this thing gone so we're trying to get a rough ballpark of a reasonable value, but we want to be honest given that it might not even start up. We saw the new MSRP was about USD $5,850, and we can find used ones in various conditions between $750 and $1,500.

Any ide

I was trying to attach the support post for a baby gate. I have a Franklin Sensors MM210 studfinder and current detector, and while there were a bunch of false readings all over the place, I'm pretty confident there was no electrical here (no stud either).

I put the drywall anchors in fine, but screwing in the 3" screws (manually, no drill) two of them hit a lot of resistance. In the pics you can see kind of a star shape, so I have no idea if I even did any damage to it.

When I poke it with a screwdriver it feels kinda like hard plastic (it makes a dull thud and doesn't feel metallic). This is an outside wall if it helps.

Thank you!

Hello!

I'm trying to figure out the correct way to jack up the car then transfer to jack stands so I can change my tires.

I tried searching in the sub with no luck, and the manual only provides instructions on using the emergency jack at the pinch weld.

Where would I place a regular hydraulic jack if the jack stands will be on the pinch welds? Do I put slightly ahead of the pinch on the side sill? I've seen mention on here of a central jacking point in the front and rear, but I feel like if that was proper, it would be in the manual too.

Sorry, I've only ever changed my tires on one car in my life and this one is new to me :) Thank you!
