Frankly I think it's about time the game added things like paid battle passes, weapon skins and the like.

Don't get me wrong, I hate microtransactions. I think things like 20 dollar character skins, even with the added premium currency, are kinda bullshit. 20 dollars should be giving the equivalent of a third of a full priced game.

On the flip side Arc Raiders has been giving out a frankly enormous amount of completely free content. Every update and every event thus far has been completely free along with the supplied Decks and skins and the like. Most of my cosmetics have been acquired without spending a dime, and while that's great for me I've been worrying at what point I can fund the

I've been trying some campaigns as Orcs and Vampire Coast recently and I've been thoroughly annoyed at the Alliance system, especially compared to Order factions and their absolute buddy-buddy system.

Now I know I'm looking for a lot trying to make friends as the non-Chaos non-Order factions but when I spend 30 turns conquering the High Elf Donut with Slaanesh as Noctilus, side by side, I kind of expect to make a bit more progress than making it to Military Alliance with them, then seeing it crumble to dust as Strategic Threat rips away at my progress.
