Hi everyone

Forgive me for being stupid.

I’m not really up on USB standards any more. I’m old.

I have a new gaming PC from Microless,

I have five external drives, all of which were connected to my previous mini PC via USB C.

I though there was USB (slow) and USB C (fast)

But this Gaming PC has only one USB slot and four USB 3.1 and four USB 2.0.

What is USB 3.1 and 2.0? I presume 3.1 is faster?

Should I be connecting my drives to 3.1? If so can I get a lead for that?

Thanks for any advice - PCs weren’t this confusing when I were a lad lol

Adding a 4TB SSD to my new Legion Go 2 tomorrow. I use both steam and Xbox for my gaming as well as some windows gaming. I mean Xbox on my legion go.

I’m debating whether to have a 1TB partition for my steam games using either Bazzite or steamos but to be honest I’m also pretty happy with using legion space as my launcher.

So - advise me how to proceed.

So I’m loooking to install a 4TB SSD in my Legion Go 2 but my eyesight isn’t great so I’d rather pay someone to do it for me. Is there anyone TRUSTWORTHY out there who anyone has used to do maintenance on a handheld before?

Personal recommendation of someone you have used yourself ONLY please. Thanks.

Hi

So I got a Legion Go 2 on Saturday and it’s the 1TB model. I can see that SSds are a bit of a minefield due to temperature issues and it also doesn’t look as easy to replace as the ROG Ally X. I replaced that one no problem.

I can also see that there are different types that fit in the LeGo 2.

So as of now (December 25) what is the recommended upgrade for a 1TB LeGo 2 in terms of make / model / speed etc. And which is the easiest to install out of the two types?

I live in Dubai, UAE so would be shopping on Amazon.ae.

Thanks in advance for any advice that is coming my way :)

Hi everyone

So I bought a legion go 2 today to replace my MSI claw 8 AI+.

I have a retrobat install on an SSD which I’ve used on multiple handhelds with no problems. Until now.

I have no sound in retrobat at all :(. I have no idea what the problem might be. Can anyone help?

So I’m moving over from my MSI Claw 8 AI+ to a legion go 2 on impulse as my local store happened to have a cancelled preorder.

I am having a problem with sound not playing in certain games. I dunno if anyone can advise?

Hello.

Don’t really want to explain exactly what my interest in this is.

I’ve become aware of a business that is being run from someone’s apartment but I can’t understand it.

Basically one o person has 17 lines running from a home on 17 phones. Some mobiles, some landlines. People phone in on numbers which are alledgedly premium rate numbers from a well known telco.

Operators answer the lines, connect the caller with their friends or family back home in their own country, and they speak.

The operators get paid a basic and then extra if they connect for over 3000 minutes a day.

I’m struggling on this for several reasons.

  1. how is the business operator making money?
  2. if he’s runnin

Greetings everyone, I hope you are well.

I’m about to buy a steam deck or a Rog Ally X. I love the steam deck oled and really want to buy one again - but I have a LOT of retro games.

So my question is - can I plug my external 4TB SSD into the steam deck and install emudeck straight onto that?

Thanks in advance.

Hi.

I have a 20TB emulation setup. It runs on external HDDs connected via USB. It currently connects to a dock with an ROG Ally connected to my TV through a dock.

It’s fine for everything I throw at it apart from PS3 which it can’t run.

So I’m looking to get a mini PC to replace. I want to spend as little as possible but have it run everything up to and including PS4.

Living in Dubai as I do, Beelink is the most popular model. Can anyone recommend a good Beelink mini Pc that will fulfill my requirements? Part of my rig are PC games but not AAA titles.

Thank you.

So, I’m trying to install Yuzu on my ROG Ally but I can only see the language drop down. I can’t see the install button.

I have tried at multiple resolutions, on the built in screen and a second screen but nothing fixes the problem.

How have you got around this on your ally?
