Currently in Software Sales (8 months postgrad)

Base: 95k OTE: 170 (tech company well known)

Offer for Consulting (Fidelity) Base: 80k OTE: 92k

I’m just not sure if Sales is for me and don’t want to get stuck down the line if I end up not liking it or being terrible at it (incentive plan hasn’t kicked in yet) Is it hard to switch out of Sales? Worth the pay cut? Would I need an MBA to make the transition later?

6 months post op and foot caught a crack on a sidewalk, jolted and landed on my operated leg. It hurt when I landed on it but kept walking on it the rest of the day. now the back of my leg is sore. I messaged my surgeon but should i be worried/has anyone experienced this?

Posting for those that might be in a similar situation- ACLR and meniscus repair in June and I was experiencing swelling still, MRI showed a very large signal that was leading us to believe the repair didn’t heal or it’s a new tear (was in the red white zone). Spoke to two surgeons and both were very confident. Had surgery two weeks ago with my original surgeon and turns out the MRI was very wrong!!!

previous stitches were intact and the meniscus was healing, just lots of scar tissue despite me having full ROM that was irritated

I had heard a lot about false MRI’s but everyone was so convinced including my original surgeon but wanted to share good news and if anyone else has had this expe

Hi! If I have a meniscus tear with no locking or catching while walking but some pain and inflammation on long days, is waiting for surgery make it worse? Could it tear more? If i wait and i need it removed will they need to take out more?

Anyone do it? or have any advice/recs?

ACLR and meniscus repair 5 months ago but meniscus failed, no mechanical symptoms and it’s a tear in the posterior horn, pain and inflammation on long days but no clicking or locking

Trying to decide if I should try PRP for a while before another surgery (they don’t think another repair would work)

Hi! ACLR w/ patella autograft and medial meniscus (posterior horn 1-2 cm horizontal body slit) repair in June. I thought recovery was going fine but surgeon suspected swelling and meniscus didn’t heal. Turns out it only healed maybe partially on MRI

At crossroads right now where I can feel it after a long day or deep bending but I’m also still early in rehab (no running/jumping yet bc of quad deficit)

I start to travel full time for work in January and I’m stuck between

  1. He would go in and try to repair again (this is what I want)

  2. He thinks if it didn’t heal the first time there’s not really a chance it would heal again, so Menisectomy but I’m only 22. However he phrased it as, yo

  2. surgeon said menisectomy may be the way to go BUT i don’t want to lose the meniscus so early in my life (im 22) however he phrased it as i wouldn’t be losing it because its already damaged and theres a possibility it could get worse

Had ACLR and meniscus repair 4 months ago and repair for meniscus failed. It’s in the medial area and I really don’t want to get a meniscectomy I’m only 22. I’ve read of stem cell injections that can help heal your meniscus but was wondering if anyone had experience with this?

I just found out 4 months post op ACLR and meniscus repair that the repair didn’t work and it might have gotten worse. My mri now shows as a complex tear before it was a 1 cm slit that they repaired. I feel so defeated I had no clue this was a possibility, did pt make it worse, do i now need a meniscectomy? I genuinely have never felt more broken

Anyone ever feel like their non injured knee hurts? I’m paranoid I tore my meniscus in the other knee too (inner knee pain) (had a patella aclr and meniscus repair on right)

Those who are 4,5,6 months out? what’s the feeling? Is it still hard to walk? What can and can’t you do? I’m almost 4 months out of aclr and meniscus and stairs and walking sometimes is still hard and swollen
