Hi. As the title says I am doing my first 1.5 patch run. When I upgrade my items, it consumes my components but the item itself does not change at all. No extra DPS, no stat changes, nothing. My components just get used. If I do it over and over eventually I will require level up before I can use the "upgraded" item. Am I missing something in the new 1.5 upgrade system?

I am really confused by the radar and IR.

I have Elint 4 war ings going off at 30 degrees. This means the enemy fleet is relatively close and pinging me. However when I turn on my own radar to get a fix I don't pick up anything.

I often get the "IR signature detected" mea ing they are right on top of me but when I search the IR scope, nothing. I guess I am not getting how they can see me on radar but I can't see them? And why IR seems to not give any information at all when things should be showing on it.

Cannot find any info online?

As title says. I played when it initially dropped. Went all the way to hanzos and stopped. Realizing I wanted the game to be improved before I finished. A particular sticking point for me.... the police. Or lack of police mechanic I should say. I hear recently some modders were able to make a passable police mechanic so now I am considering reinstalling and trying all over agian. But I also heard a lot of big patches are dropping Q1 of 2022. Should I wait?

New to CK but really loving it. I wanted to form a close knit kingdom with all my vassals. So I married my daughters and sons off to the most powerful dukes. However, when I get into wars they can't help? I understand they provide levies but I thought the effort of forming alliances meant they would send their personal armies? Is this not the case ever? Is it ever a good idea to form alliances with my vassals?

I am just learning to maintain my pool. I have been testing it twice a week and chlorine, PH, and Alkalinity all come back in nominal ranges. I thought I would have had to add chlorine by now? I have been maintaining the pool for about 3 weeks and honestly I don't think my pool guy added chlorine for awhile before I let him go either. Is this normal?

I keep seeing this story pop up. At first it was in places like pol and the Washington Post (Which I read but they def have an agenda). But now I am seeing it start to catch but I cannot seem to find any 'gotcha' fact or moment in any of these stories. Is this just vapor? What are Trump's detractors on about? Please keep the REEEEEE from both sides to yourself. Serious answers only.

I am not exaggerating when I say the menus in the diplo screen take up about 60 percent of the screen and the map is like a sliver. When I click a faction they are inevitably hidden by the menus and I cannot really see where people are. Is something off in my settings? I played with it but couldn't fix it.

I suppose I am chiefly trying to find any new information on Chinese anti ship missile kill chains since last I looked into it that was their big problem. But also just in general what is the Chinese strategy to impose its will in the SCS if that conflict kicked off tomorrow. How do they expect to counter CSGs that maintain good stand off? How do Americans and Chinese strategists expect that conflict to unfold? What assumptions are both sides making and where are those assumptions thin?
