Title sums it up. Have a premium type 4 corsair 24 pin. There are 3 inline capacitors, 2 small, one large. I want to copy this design, but move them closer to the psu and use my own wire and paracord colors.

Not seeing any answers as most people just seem to cut the capacitors out of the original cables. But these cables are usually $30 each, 3 capacitors should be significantly cheaper. I want the ripple suppression, this system is going to be pulling 1350watts and want every bit of stability I can get.

So I’ve been playing with particles, hair, geo nodes, all with instancing. But it still kills my cpu, that is a 16core. What are people doing to get dense particles and not freezing up Blender? I want to spread out lots of grass and rocks, trees. But how without bogging down the system.

Made my tutorial rocket animation and simple water flow sim animation. Just realized the both in total projects took up 20GB of storage for 20 seconds of total animation.

Is buying and building a decent Hdd raid the only real option? What do do you blender animators here do?

I am am learning and taking workshops, but the end goal is making high quality 4K videos. That’s looking a lot like 65gb for just the raw project file for 1 minute of video.

How much storage should I be getting if wanting a comfortable amount for 2-3 years of projects?
