Hey everyone,

I’m a pretty introverted person, and lately I’ve realized that I’ve been feeling a little isolated. I’ve decided that instead of just sitting at home, I should probably put myself out there and try joining some groups and meeting new people.

I’m a South Asian/brown gay guy in Toronto, and I’m still fairly new to exploring the queer community. To be honest, I don’t really have any gay friends yet.

I’m also not much of a party or nightclub person. I enjoy quieter things like hiking, being outdoors, reading, photography, and just having a good conversation.

Are there any LGBTQ+ or gay-friendly groups in Toronto that you would recommend for making genuine friends? Maybe hiking

Hi everyone, this is my first time exploring jobs in the U.S., so I wanted some advice.

I’m currently in Canada and work in IT. I recently started seeing some U.S. openings that match my experience, and I’m trying to understand how the TN visa process works during job applications.

A few questions:

  1. Should I mention somewhere in my resume that I’m eligible for a TN visa?

  2. If a job description says “we do not sponsor visas,” does that also include TN visas?

  3. At what stage do you usually tell recruiters or employers about TN eligibility?

  4. Any tips for Canadians applying to U.S. jobs for the first time?

Would really appreciate advice from people who’ve gone through this process.

I work in a IT and lately I’ve been feeling really overwhelmed with work.

It just feels like a constant stream of tasks with no real break. Even when I try to stay on top of things, more keeps coming in from different directions. On paper it might seem manageable, but in reality it’s mentally exhausting and never really stops.

There are multiple things I’m expected to handle at the same time, and a lot of context switching between tasks. I’ve been pushing through for a while, but it’s starting to affect me more than I expected.

I’m not sleeping properly, I feel stressed most of the time, and even weekends don’t really help me reset. I don’t feel like I’m recovering at all.

I am a gay man 28 years old Indian and still closeted. I come from a very orthodox and traditional family. I am not really looking for advice right now. I just need to vent and get this off my chest.

My mom has been through a lot in her life. We are not from a well to do family and she has worked extremely hard to keep things going. I am her only child and I know I am the person she loves the most. That is the hardest part of all this. I can deal with people hating me but I do not think I could handle my mom being deeply hurt because of me.

My dad is complicated. He is not a bad person but like many Indian fathers he was raised a certain way. Emotional distance is normal in our culture and

Grindr has locked most features for money $380/month for some BS called Edge is unhinged. That’s not premium , that’s daylight robbery. Open the app: 15 profiles. Want more? Pay. Want to click a face? Pay. Want to exist? Pay. Grindr went from hookup app to mobile game with microtransactions. Same empty grid, higher prices, worse experience. Anyway, RIP Grindr. You played yourself.

Hi, I’m a male currently going through a divorce and dealing with depression. I come from an Indian family background, where divorce also involves a lot of family and parental emotions. I’m looking for a therapist in Toronto who understands divorce and is familiar with Indian/South Asian family dynamics, or is culturally sensitive. Any recommendations would be really appreciated. Thank you.
