After seeing the lightning synergy changes, this is what I cooked up. I have not had a chance to try this in challenge mode yet since I'm trying to grind for upgrades for other characters, but I don't think it'll be too different. Bosses would just take longer and you'd need to dodge better.

Unfortunately I started the screen recorder late but the rest of the fight should be good enough.

I'm trying to integrate the main character's traits into pivotal points in my story. I'd like to put this out here to hear your opinions on it, if it makes sense, and if there's anything I can improve. This is also the first time I put all of my ideas down so hopefully it can serve as a outline for me later on.

Bit of context: gods went crazy and waged war on humans. Humans won through stealing god magic along with advancements in technology, at the cost of most of the world becoming uninhabitable save for a single city which became a nation. Some people who fought on the gods' side also went crazy after their gods died, and now barely retain their human form.

The main character, Sebastian

A story about a world with an everlasting winter and a guy with a suspiciously ominous last name.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this. There are a few questions that I'd like answered:

  • Hook: were you interested? Did you want to read on after the first paragraph/page/chapter?
  • Description: I feel like I'm bad with describing things so I subconsciously avoid it. Was what I wrote too purple or did I not write enough?
  • Dialogue: did it sound natural?
  • Exposition: was there too much? Did it take you out of the story?
  • Lastly, what did you think of Sebastian's character? There were some things that I intended to show throughout his thought process.

I haven't written anything in a long time, but recently found some time on my hands. I'm mainly looking for a few things in the feedback:

  • Hook: were you interested? Did you want to read on after the first paragraph/page/chapter?
  • Description: I feel like I'm bad with describing things so I subconsciously avoid it. Was what I wrote too purple or did I not write enough?
  • Dialogue: did it sound natural?
  • Exposition: was there too much? Did it take you out of the story?

Any input is appreciated. Thank you very much.

How important was the CLRS textbook for the open book exams? I have a digital copy and I kind of don't want to buy one if it's not terribly important. Thanks!

I'm running into a bit of a problem with the delta key. In the video preview the sprite background looks fine (i.e. completely transparent), like this:

https://preview.redd.it/pik7tnww9x471.png?width=401&format=png&auto=webp&s=4aa472cf1bd877c43da766f6cd487ee9d5672fbe

But when I export the video there's a faint black background that's quite noticeable when the sprite is moving:

Is there a way to fix this? Thanks in advance.
