I heard soneone mention that, and it makes a lit of sense, but i cant find anything to back it up, does anyone know any sources to prove or disprove this?
So, making ai was the death of my last project, since i tried to overengineer something i dont really understand. Im making something like parklur im-sim, something akin to neon white, but stealth focused, insipred by dishonored, maybe cruelty squad. I do need ai for this project to work, but i kinda have no idea how to start? Architecturally what should i build roughly at least? Are there any good resources for that info?
Sorry for such and open-ended, and perhaps not godot specific question, i kinda just want my project not to die like my last one.
Im into movent again, making new controller, implementing wall jumps. My basic idea is to call is_on_floor while airborne and then walljump(wall_normal) which works fine, but it may be tricky to jump off of edges of walls and collumns, when only 1 point in space touches character collider. Also is_on_wall only really works when you really jam into the wall, not when youre going past it and barely touching. Is there a way to give a bot of extra window for that distance from wall? I tried Area3D, characterbody and rigid body with colliders that are a bit bulkier than others. Area3D seems ro be working best at actually detecting when youre near a wall, but i cant really get a normal to the
I got very excited nad made a lot of yoghurt (1.5L drained) and i think i may not be able to eat it all before it spoils. I also think i may have captured some wild bacteries, bc the staff iade is much more tangy and fruity and complex than what i got a few weeks ago from store bought greek yoghurt. Can i freese some yoghurt to use it as a starter later, bc i dont want to lose this culture?
Recently I got ignited with an idea of getting a bike for commuting to work, really like both aesthetics and practicality of folding bike. Easier to store at work in the break room, easy to haul upstairs, where I live, to not leave it in communal space for a night. One issue - my ass is rather fat. I'm at 240lbs currently and all the bikes I found so far are around 200-230 weight max. I'm looking secondhand for around $250-$350. I did find a few bikes by some "langtu" manufacturer, which seem to boast around 240-250lbs max weight, and even a bit cheaper than other options like Dahon SUV d6. Do 10 pounds matter that much?
Freshly installed arch with Hyprland via archinstall script. Previously used i3, and the game installed just fine, never thought about it.
The log in game files folder has only a single error "EnableNonClientDpiScaling() failed for HWND 0x300d8 (120) (Call not implemented.)" the game itself launches, and from what i can gather with looking at it's resource usage, starts compiling shaders, the process sits there with 8gb of memory to itself, but there is no gpu load whatsoever.
The launcher for the game starts just fine, and when it closes, a little window that looks minimized pops up in the corner of my screen, closing it stops the process, stopping the process via steam closes the windo
