So I have been working on my claim myself, now at the stage where I need to go in front of a judge (no date set) and trying to get an attorney.

I had filled out one of those general "get a disability attorney" forms through the "Legal Eagle" website (who I know is legit) and was contacted back by representative from https://roblevine.com/

But I am always very security conscious, it is something that I just can't help, so when the representative I was speaking with went through their spiel they told me that we were going to have to call SSA and get:

  1. DLI
  2. PIA
  3. History of Application date

This seems pretty normal, however once the call was connected to SSA the first thing the SSA r

I am going to be getting some surgery on my hand and the surgeon told me told me that I needed to get some blood work before surgery.... well reading her notes she had written "His appearance also is concerning for possible methamphetamine" and the "blood test" is a drug test.

In 15 years of going to this VA hospital, she is the first one to do this.

Reviewing the notes, she has made this decision because I am thin, have bad teeth, "mildly hyperactive and talkative", and my "appearance".

Meth use - I have never done meth. I am on 11 prescription medications and the only non-prescription medications I take are OTC things like excedrine/cold medications and VERY occasionally CBD to b

Background: (not service connected)

The tendons in my hands have essentially become detached and snap back and forth off the knuckles. While there is surgery that could correct them, the surgeon says they won't do this until they actually cause a serious problem such as hood ruptures (could be risky).

Pain does not seem count, even though that pain over the years has come from the fibers holding the tendons in place coming apart and the tendons pushing on the extensor hoods.

In May I had a hood rupture in one finger and I will be getting surgery for that next year, but they won't repair the others because they don't consider the other tendons to be "a problem" unless they also exp

Game: Project Zomboid

Why I want this game:

Have been watching game play videos of this game since it came out however as I have been out of work since 2019 due to medical issues and the g/f and I have been living in a travel trailer since 2022 money has been really tight this whole year so not a lot to spend of games.

I use video games as a stress reliever as it reduces chance of seizures occurring, but after brain damage in 2019 the type of games I can play can not be too complicated. For example games like Factorio, Satisfactory, and so on (which I used to enjoy) mak

Would it be frowned upon if I were to post a bunch of my ideas on here for others to just take and do whatever they want with them?

None are patented.

So I have a lot of ideas that I have collected over the past 20+ years or so and I will never be able to put them together or produce them.

They generally :

  1. Some are just written out but enough that someone could use the outlines to make a product with.

  2. Some are written out with basic designs/images.

  3. Some are written out, basic designs/images, and more elaborate details added.

The overall gist of it however is that I will never be able to do anything with them because:

  1. I can't afford patenting/getting lawyer.

I know the usual advice of never using heaters with extension cords and have seen results of people using thin cords with them.

However I am living in an older travel trailer with very bad electrical plug layout (all on one side, but has good wiring), limited counter space (all on one side, we have added shelves on other side), and wondering if perhaps the following might be feasible:

  1. The heaters we have are similar to this style and currently run on separate circuits.

  2. They run fine in the trailer, we keep them on either the first or second heat setting so never at full power.

  3. We

Me: Not a certified electrician but learned under my father (who was) many moons ago doing whole home replacements (I was wire rat, did connections, he checked everything and final hookups), have always done electrical home repairs and so on myself no problem. Always hired electricians for anything major.

Have all the proper tools (and then some), as I also do low voltage work a lot.

So the g/f and I are currently staying with her son. His house is a bit of a mess electrically (old house) and I have been straightening some things out down circuit from the breaker box (mostly replacing old/busted outlets, fixed an open ground, backstabs, so on).

His panel is in decent shape, but there is

PROBLEM:

I have this odd thing going on with the tendons of my hands right now.

I have had years of hand/wrist/finger pain where cause hasn't been found (carpel tunnel ruled out), but I flicked a fly off my chest in May, somehow tore extensor tendon hood in middle finger (aka Boxers Knuckle, doctors initially didn't believe it was caused by such a small action), so they sent me to plastic surgeon for repair.

46yr male, with several medical conditions and medications, due to length I have posted them at:

Few questions:

A. On May 28th, I flicked an ant off of my chest and somehow managed to tear a sagittal band in the middle finger of my left hand (yes, I have heard all the "ant man" jokes).

Per my doctor this usually occurs due to sports like boxing or rheumatoid arthritis however due to my medical conditions I am pretty sedentary and rheumatoid arthritis was ruled out over a year ago when I was tested while attempting to find a cause for my other pain issues.

Are we possibly missing any other potential c

Trying to repair a gas weedwacker (have compression, runs when primed, think just needs maintenance as was told it sat for 2 years) but unable to locate a model number to find a manual for it.

Also startup directions on side mention "flipping a lever" as step 2 but not locating lever it mentions.

Images with available information are posted at https://imgur.com/gallery/tFob7Jj

Appears to be a 2017 model, could use any assistance with determining model number or locating a manual.

I had originally submitted my claim in October of 2022, claim was denied 3/16/2023, got letter 3/24/2023.

So I have several conditions that I separate into primary, secondary, tertiary based on how badly they affect me and I had provided all but the "Refractory Epilepsy" during my claim as that was only diagnosed 3/14/2023 so I did not have time to update my claim with that for the claim was denied.

During the claim process they seemed to only ask questions about general seizures and migraines, which if that was my only issues i could probably work but if that was the totality of my conditions I could probably work (and I did work remotely for over 10 years wit

Short version:

Many years ago a VA psychologist gave me a diagnosis of "schizoid personality disorder" but years later after more in-depth neurological testing by a neurologist that diagnosis was removed as it was determined to be improperly diagnosed.

Social security wants me to see an outside psychologist, I do meet majority of the symptoms for that diagnosis, if they were to give me that same diagnosis would it hurt or help my claim?

More info:

After working for 30 years (give or take, including time in military) I have developed several health problems.

While none of them are "blue book" conditions and I spent over a decade being able to work with
