I used to prep for hours, turn client chaos into clarity, and still got ghosted when the invoice came. Here's what I learned — never trust good vibes over written agreements. I now send 3 invoice reminders and stopped making myself too “available.”

If you're a freelancer who's dealt with chaos clients — comment or DM me “rewrite” and I’ll help you turn your messy story into content or clarity.

When doing everything right STILL doesn’t get you paid.

I offered to build a free website for someone mid-rebrand — turns out she had *no brand*. Just vibes. I ended up doing copy, structure, brand strategy, and now she wants monthly updates with no direction.

This is your reminder: no free work, no unclear clients. Ever again.
If you’ve had a similar client, reply or DM “rewrite” — I’ll help turn your story into a warning for others.

Offered a free website. Ended up running her business.
