What are some know tactics that ICE is using to scout/case homes? Are they known to dress in civilian clothes and use non-standard government/police cars (maybe even personal cars) to scout neighborhoods and ask people questions?

What kind of questions are they asking? Are they asking about who owns the homes or telling people they’re looking for workers?

Do they scout alone or always in groups/pairs?

I’m asking some pointed questions based on an incident this morning and am trying to figure out if they were ICE or not.

Thank you for any help.

I am planning on sitting for my ITIL 4 Foundation exam within the next 3-4 months to improve job prospects and learn a bit more about IT management practices but have a few questions.

  1. What legitimate sites can I buy a discounted voucher from? $600+ is a lot for me right now and unfortunately my current employer cannot pay for it.
  2. Would you suggest longer than 3 months of solid daily studying before taking it?
  3. What resources would you recommend? I’ve bought a Udemy course on it from Sam Legion.
  4. What were the hardest parts of the exams for you? Were the questions a bit vague or oddly worded?
  5. Did obtaining the ITIL either help with job prospects or help you feel more confide

I recently had the oil changed on my 2022 AWD Tucson SEL and the 2 front tires are needing replacement. The mechanic said Hyundai’s AWD system doesn’t require you to replace all 4 tires (unlike say Subaru) and I could just get the front 2 replaced as the back 2 are fine.

Is that true? I thought the rule of thumb was if it’s AWD, you have to replace all 4 at a time. I’d love if I could just replace the front two but it kind of threw me for a loop when he said that! I was always prepared to have to replace 4 at a time.

TIA for any help!

After failing my first try at Net+ 3 weeks ago, I passed my Security+ today, first try!

I intended to do them in order of A+, N+, S+ but my husband suggested I do S+ after my first failure with the Net exam to boost my confidence and he was right!

I didn’t get nearly as much studying in as I wanted but had a decent understanding from my job and doing the Coursers Google Cybersecurity course a couple years ago.

This time I mostly used Andrew Ramdayal and he was a great help. I plan on using his Udemy course to prep for retaking my Net+ soon.

Just wanted to share my joy and encourage everyone to keep working hard and keep studying!

Any last minute advice or suggestions on things to cram/focus on in the morning?

I’ve been studying for months but am worried about the PBQs and getting a ton of subnetting questions that will make me panic and waste too much time.

I’ve passed all my others exams first try but am very worried I’ll fail this one. I have a retake voucher at least but oh lord what if I fail the 2nd try too lol??

I’m rewatching season 1 of “The Fall” with Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan and was thrilled when I recognized so many actors from Derry Girls. So far I’ve seen Ian McElhinney (Grandad Joe), Siobhan McSweeney (Sister Michael), and Tara Lynne O’Neill (Ma Mary Quinn) as various characters in The Fall.

I’m wondering what other Irish actors from both shows I might notice in the remaining seasons.

Obviously very different vibes and genres but both great shows in their own right!
