Hello! I am taking FAR on the 28th (my first section) and I am I don’t feel ready at all and i feel like I’m losing momentum. I’m at over 200 hours on Becker and I suddenly feel really intimidated and the urge to reschedule (again). I am unsure if my reviewing is enough. I don’t know if I’m even doing the right things to review. I’m also definitely experiencing diminishing returns as I’ve been studying for a little over 8 weeks now. I’m currently having a break down while taking my first simulated exam to see where I stand. My brain seems to be rejecting basic information right now. I hear people say to review for 10-14 days so I’m considering pushing it back to the 1st of October just to ge

I’ve just schedule my first part of the CPA exam (FAR) and my date is 8 weeks out. I am about to hit the ground running and I just want to know if you guys prefer studying inside the comfort of your own home or away, why? I want to treat it like a part time job (20-25hrs/week with Sunday’s off) since I will not be working but I also want to continue eating well and going to the gym 4-5x/week. Hopefully I’m being realistic lol.

For context, him and I have been in a healthy long distance relationship for almost 4 years. However, we weren’t originally long distance. We knew each other for a year and dated “exclusively” for 6 months before he had to move away. I was in college during the time and I’ll admit in the beginning I kissed someone else and deeply regretted it and was afraid to ever say… I knew that I would never do it again and that I really wanted to be with my bf. I downplayed the whole dynamic as him (the guy I kissed) just being a guy who liked me and nothing more. Our relationship went on and through trials and tribulations we became so close even with the distance. We visit each other often as we are o

Just graduated with my undergrad in accounting and I am eligible to sit for the cpa and meet the 150 credit hour requirement to need 1yr experience before certification. I’ve no job offers from undergrad (I tried) so I need to be certified expeditiously but I’m trying to rejuvenate before hopping into studying. I’m also intimidated because I want to start with FAR which is reputable for being the hardest. I see the packages are on sale and I still can’t push myself to purchase it yet. How soon after graduating did you get Becker (or whatever other study material) and start studying?

I am graduating from Kennsaw State with my bachelors in accounting in a week. I consider myself a late bloomer in accounting because I didn’t switch my major until halfway through my junior year which I know is risky in this profession (I was initially management). Anyways I went to numerous networking events, probably could have gone to more, but to sum it up I have had no internships or experience, I’m at the end of my journey and I have missed many deadlines to apply for MAcc programs that begin in fall. I initially didn’t care to get my MAcc because I will be graduating with 150 credit hours because I took a couple extra courses plus I had an associates degree in business prior. So I was
