I had a FET on the 14th. First two beta's were 791 and then 3419. AMAZING!!! Our first glimpse of real potential. Two days ago I started bleeding at 8pm and was having a full on flow with clots until ~ 10am the following morning. Went into the clinic and they did another beta, this time beta was 5744. WTF? Since then I just stopped bleeding and it's been like that now for over 24hr. Apparently the clinic says it’s inconclusive basically, my numbers "look great" and we have to wait till next Friday to have an ultrasound to know for sure. Sometimes apparently people will bleed pretty intensely like this for other reasons (a chorionic hemorrhage or a twin embryo that is miscarrying and the othe

k so to just put it all out here ... I had a FET on the 14th. First two beta's were 791 and then 3419. Our first glimpse of real potential, but of course not so smooth. Hey yall-- new clinician based in PNW, US. For some background... I started out working in a group practice where my supervisor was also my work supervisor and had really excellent experiences with supervision from her. She was up on all my notes, read them, provided really helpful direct feedback for my learning and signed off on all of them. Supervision hours themselves were a solid mixture of relational, client focused, feedback and skills building.
I've recently transferred into private practice but am still working to finished up pre-licensure hours. My new supervisor doesn't read my notes at all and I am starting to notice the majority of our supervision hour is me catching him
Hey all-- I'm trying to manage stress/anxiety going into my third FET after two losses. I had my pcp have me take lavela which is a lavender oil pill. Anyone out there familiar with taking this through FET? Was it helpful? Any reason i shouldn't be taking it w progesterone & lovenox & estradiol? I know ultimately i should just trust my pcp and also ask my fertility dr buuuut I also trust this community to have a lot of experience and I bet have received a lot of medical perspectives on this, so what do folks know?
To all the supporting sweethearts who are doing more, more dishes, more grocery runs, more dog walks, more insurance haggling, and maybe even taking on the role of injecting your partner with meds...thank you so so much. I know not everyone has the support they need and I just want to appreciate all of you out there who are doing it!! I can see it's hard for my husband to inject the PIO, I can't even imagine how f'd that would feel (maybe if you're a medical professional not so bad?) but damn. Thank you. It's not pleasant for anyone but it's so so so supportive. so big love to all of you out there showing up🩵 it's not easy but it really is better knowing and feeling you're really in it toget
So....just had my first PIO shot this morning. I've had 3 ER's, and 2 modified natural FET that were both losses but I have NEVER had this crazy deep muscle pain from a shot like I have today. I'm sort of out of my mind that this is going to be every day for such a long time. Tell me your survival stories? Truly how do you do this every day if this is how bad it hurts? I don't think I'll be able to walk after 4 days of this. I did the heating pad and massage and just bought a soft foam roller but dang y'all this is not looking good. What pain killers could you use? Is it just this bad for some people?
Hey - 39f 3failed iui, 3er, 2fet=1mc, 1loss w no implantation. Totally unexplained infertility. Past two fet were modified natural. Lining has always been good and hormones fine... I'm about to go into third attempt of a FET. Just recently had a hysteroscopy and biopsy for receptiva and apparently ask is ok there. Which is really good news and also still leaves us in an unknown. I'm nervous for so many reasons.... mostly afraid of another loss and more and more heartbreak and the aging factor is scaring me too.
the Dr wants to try a medicated FET cycle saying that we might as well try, even though it's not medically indicated that it would change anything for me she wants to give it a go si
Saying it here, because I don't know what to do with myself. Second transfer beta came back unsuccessful. First was early miscarriage now this was completely negative. I let myself start to feel hope this round 😞 how do you all keep going doing life in the middle of all this grief and loss that feels so hidden ??
I'm struggling big time to muster any sort of momentum to do life things right now. I'm just crushed and grieving and have nothing to show for it and am so afraid that I never will. "Chemical pregnancy" is such a stupid clinical term. It's so uncomfortable to feel so put off by other people's joy and successes (two friends gave birth this past week...the same week we lost our first FET) but it just is highlighting what I'm not sure I'll ever have. I am sad and scared and tired. This whole thing is so hard and I don't feel hopeful even though there is still technically chances for us (we do have more tested embryos) I'm just tired of all of it and tired of toxic positivity and don't want to g
