TLDR: My boss is forcing me to make an employee take vacation even though he doesn't want to. What do I do?

Strap in, folks. This is a long one.

I have this Asian employee we'll call Atari (his nationality matters in this story). He's a pretty good employee. He's working on one of our company's job sites, which I do not manage -- however, he reports to me in the hierarchy. Atari has about 40 hours of PTO remaining for 2025 that can't be rolled over into 2026, so we want him to take as much of it as possible. We didn't tell him not to take PTO before, by the way; he's just a hard worker and doesn't want to take a lot of time off.

DAE in the US keep getting GBBO spoilers in their Google news feed? I have an Android phone and I swear I can't look at my Google news feed on Wednesday or Thursday because it always shows who got sent home. I enjoy GBBO content so I don't want to tell it "don't show me this" but I also would rather not know in advance who's going home. Anyone found a way around this?

Without using "do not disturb mode", is there a way for texts or calls from certain people to break through the silenced phone? Like how iPhones do it where you've switched the little switch to "vibrate" but certain people's texts or calls still make noise? I've scoured the contacts app and found nothing, and searching for help articles keeps redirecting me to DND mode.

Alternately, if someone could help me to find a way to make DND mode work without me having to whitelist nearly everything that would be great as well.

I just want a watch face that shows the weather in large images and text, without having to pay a yearly subscription (like IW weather). The closest I've come is PER017 Axis but for some reason it won't load on my phone so I can sync it to my watch. I've also tried apps like Facer and Minimal & Elegant but I can't get the watch faces from those apps to actually appear on my watch. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but it's very annoying. If anyone can help me I'd greatly appreciate it.

Maybe I'm missing the option somewhere, but where do I find the armaments to put on my walls? I tried upgrading a piece of wall to max size but I still can't find the right button to click.

I just got a new Plantronics Poly 8225 wired headset for work, and every time I mute or unmute, whether it's from the button on the controls or the mute button in Teams, I get a vocal notification that says "mute on" or "mute off". It's very annoying. How do I make it stop?

I tried doing a search but haven't found anything in the user manual.

I have a Pixel 7 Pro. Recently I started getting phone calls ringing through only on my watch. The phone doesn't ring at all, and when I unlock the phone to answer the call it's not there, even though my watch is still ringing. When I answer the call on my watch and send the audio to my phone, it fails, and I have to pull the audio back to the watch.

I still want to be notified of calls on my watch, so I don't want to silence the notifications, but I want the calls to ring on both my watch and my phone. What do I have to change/fix?

ETA: I rebooted the phone and that seems to have solved the problem, but before I did that I tested it again and the phone vibrated but didn't activate the pho

I searched this sub and didn't find any answers, but I feel like this is a pretty simple one to solve: what do you do with the flowers that are on the map?

And also, sometimes I see what looks like chocolate bars. What do you do with those?

Touching either of these items on the screen doesn't do anything.

Aren't Seven and Raffi in a relationship? Why would Starfleet allow Raffi to be Seven's first officer if that's the case? What happens when Seven has to send Raffi into a potentially-deadly situation and hesitates? Even if they broke up during the intervening time before "One Year Later", there's still history there.

(And before anyone says "What about Kelly and Ed in The Orville?" that shouldn't have happened either, regardless of how well-qualified Kelly is.)

So here's a fun thing that's happening with my P7P. I have the widget on the homepage that tells you what event is coming up (the one you can't move, only customize, when you long-press on it). I used to have these two events recurring on my Google Calendar, and I deleted them. However, they're still showing up as "ghost" events every day at 5:30am and 10pm. When I tap the events, the Calendar app opens but then says the event doesn't exist. Anyone know how to get rid of these events?

Something weird just happened with my instance of Tweetdeck. I'm running it in a Chrome web browser on a Windows 10 PC.

I didn't touch any settings or change anything but suddenly I'm receiving other users' likes in my feed and tweets from users I don't follow but others do. For example, I don't follow .@POTUS but some people I follow do, so now I'm seeing tweets from that account. And it's also showing the likes, then removing them, then showing them, then re-showing them. It's very annoying.

Previously I was only seeing tweets from users I follow and retweets made by users I follow, and it was coming in a chronological way (the way I had it set).

Today while playing Galaxiga I started hearing a five-second loop of jaunty music over all the other game music and sounds. It continued playing when I exited the app, but stopped when I force-quit the app (by going to my app cards and swiping it away). It starts about 20-30 seconds in and literally nothing I do in the game can make it stop. (I guess I could mute the sound on my phone but that defeats the purpose.) HAE experienced this? What can I do to diagnose the problem?

I'm coming to the Pixel Watch from a Wyze Watch. Before that I had an Amazfit Bip, and before that a Vector Watch. The digital crown is cool and all, but honestly I never use it. I just swipe on the screen to get where I want to go.
