I've been going through the mod queue a bit, and lately I've noticed that there's been an "influx" (relatively speaking) of spam by users trying to use this place for generic discussion, trauma dumping, or just frankly off topic advice.

As a casual reminder, our mission as a subreddit is to open discussion around the unique experience of being (or being with) an ENTJ/ENTj. It is not a place to air your dirty laundry, cure your unique touch-starved monogamy-resistant loneliness, beg for validation, or seek people to develop your app.

It's been a bit since my last lightningrod post. So:

1. Casual reminder that fascistic ideation, bad-faith actors, right-wing trolls, and tribal politicking are not tolerated on this platform.

2. Also it's really cold here and it's very slippery outside. Traversal is either risky or inefficient, potentially resulting in sudden unexpected violent injuries.

3. Restaurants do not clean the machines nearly as much as they are supposed to, and it takes up space from the drink you paid for.

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of a beloved member of our moderation staff and community, u/AlmightyStrongPerson.

AlmightyStrongPerson was a force for good within this community and the senior ISTJ on staff before stepping away to focus on her health. She was a key player in advocating for and developing the Discord channel. she was an advocate for users, and she was a great friend to many.

I only knew her for a short time, so I do not believe it is my place to provide much in the way of personal details. Nevertheless, she loved you all, and we will miss her terribly.

As a type, ENTJs are known for dominant Extraverted Thinking (Te) - processing external, objective, logical systems with a focus on efficiency, structure, and measurable outcomes. This is usually noted as being in firm contrast to Extraverted Feeling (Fe), which leverages external shared emotional values and harmony through the maintenance of interpersonal dynamics, group values, and emotional needs.

Hello all. The last couple of days as a citizen of the US and as the head moderator of this subreddit have been very interesting for me. My intentions are to return to a low-politics state once we have reached a point of stability and consensus on these issues. As FAQs come up, I'll plan to edit this list instead of spamming the community.

Ideally I want to make sure that this space is welcome to all. That all who follow the rules or order within the subreddit are tolerated (if not celebrated) for their unique perspectives on the type.

However, tolerance is not a virtue but a social contract. If we allow the intolerant to do as they will in an environment of tolerance, then that tolerance will die. As such, we (as a community of tolerance) cannot afford to tolerate ideologies built on the systematic subjugation of outgroups.
