"that'll be 10$ ma'am"
"okay here you go"
"oh my god did I say MA'AM? to you a MAN? HOW could I be so Stupid??"
"no its really not a big deal dont worry about-" "No its really the worst thing, I mean i looked at you, someone who is Obviously and Definitely a Man and in passing called you something implying you are a Women, which is wrong and Stupid. its obvious by the way you act and look at present yourself that you are a man and that should have been obvious to me, I'm so sorry for the mistake ^.^"

So i have an AKAI mpk mini plus that im just now setting up and this is my first experience with midi for the most part. ive got most if it working but ofc when i assign my knobs to plugin settings it jumps rly aggressively to whatever absolute value my knob was left at.

so the obvious solution is to switch to relative encoding which i have done in the AKAI program editor, but now it will Only send min/max values (and interestingly it sets to max value on decrimenting and min value on incrimenting)

i cant figure out how to change midi settings related to absolute/relative encoding in protools, or anything about sending back plugin data to the midi controler for relative encoding. any ideas

I have been coding since I was a kid, but never took it too serious, but now (23yo) I'm realizing the value of a career like that. I was originally looking into Coding Temple, but I'm not seeing a whole lot about that on here, which makes me nervous about it. I really need something where I can keep working while I'm in school to pay the bills, but I have a fair amount of experience coding so I'm not overly worried about it being to complex for me. The main reason I want to do this is just to make it easier and quicker to find a job in software development. Are there some programs that have links with employers, or really good career support I should look into?

I use google calendar for work and have a calendar that is shared with me that is managed by someone else on our team. I can link my Google Cal with super note but only seem to have access to my personal calendar, and not my shared calendars. is there anyway to link them?

a long time ago, i started transitioning. things were going well and I was getting over all the hurdles, but one day i came to school dressed feminine, and some random person (i literally didnt know who they were) said something snarky to me about how dumb it was i was doing this. a while later i went out to go to the bathroom, and he followed, and he beat me up in the halls when i was alone. it was really bad, there was a lot of blood and i thought he was going to kill me but for some reason i was so paralyzed in fear i couldnt fight back. i ended up vomiting on him and thats what ended the "fight". i went home immediately after, i told no one, and stopped d

with the James webb telescope orbiting a lagrandian point, and with KSP 1 not allowing for that to work, do you think it would be withe adding them to KSP2? it could add a lot of cool things to happen and be really fun but also could add a lot of trouble and weird unexpected mechanics depending on how they are put in the game

im editing 2 different files both with the ".sh" extention, and when i turn on syntax highlighting it highlights the two differently?

for example: echo test in both files highlights the "echo" yellow, but only highlights "test" in one of the files?

i have basically no settings anywhere, my vimrc file only has one line: "let g:is_posix = 1" to ensure highlighting on sh files worked right
